He did a great job with my hair cut and got me right. My neck is a little irritated since it is a zero fade but definitely very professional work and I will be returning.

God bless this place. They don't do a hard upsell, but they do seem like a drug front. You're getting a deal because they don't offer goggles for free (or deodorant or any other amenities). They do have nice beds that have fresh bulbs. Limited selection of tanning lotions, which is fine, I bring my own. The kid working the front looked confused but was nice enough. The floors are a weird stone and seem like they haven't been washed since the 2000s. Other than that, no complaints.

I got my first set of GelX with a Russian manicure, and after 2 hours, I walked out feeling amazing. For the amount of detail and time taken, the cost is so incredible reasonable. Nail Secrets has been my go to salon for years now. Everyone is very professional and courteous. Angie is very accommodating, even to my last minute requests due to my work. I also went here to get my bridal nails done with my mom and sisters! After so many poor past experiences, I'm so glad to have found Pamper Me. Everyone who has worked on me (Liza, Mariam) has done a great job. They take their time, follow the steps, and make me laugh along the way. You can tell they actually take a lot of pride in their work and truly want to give you what you want. My gel mani's and pedi's last a minimum of 3 weeks and their prices are very fair. Definitely my new go to spot.

There were times around and after covid it was hard to schedule but not anymore. I will be a regular here and always call here first when needing my nails done. NOT ONLY does she dry cut curly hair better than any other stylist I've been to, with a really great sense of how my hair grows, NOT ONLY are her prices way more reasonable than many (much worse) salons in the Los Angeles area, but she's also a super rad and kind person. Her studio is also really cute and fun to hang out in. I earnestly looked forward to every appointment at P&P. Especially if you have curly hair, the wait is worth it here.

Since I've been going grey she has also been coloring (and highlighting) my hair for a few years now. I always get compliments on the highlights! She knows how to work with my wavy/curly hair and cuts it so I can wear it straight or curly. My 14 year old daughter sees Renata now and gets beautiful cuts for her very thick, wavy hair. Our experience with All City Plumbing and Air was Louie was so professional yet friendly. He initially came in for furnace tuneup. However, he showed me the current state of my hvac system which was allegedly changed by a previous contractor. Unfortunately, this was not the case and the systemwas leaking and since it had previously caused water damage we decided to rip it out. Louie showed us our options and we decided to do an entire rehaul including ducts. The next day he and the crew came out to start the job. Now, the ac is whisper quiet definitely can tell the difference. I have additional projects that need attention, and I will absolutely use them for them all. Thanks, Louie, and All City!!

Mick & Right Price Rooter exceeded the quality, care, and value of any plumbing service that I've ever experienced. He responded immediately after I reached out, and they were able to come within a couple hours of my call on a weekend. The quote was actually lower than plumbing projects that I've done during regular weekday hours. Even though the project ended up being more complex than we all expected, Mick and Fernando didn't raise the price of the quote. They honored the quoted price even though they had the right to raise the price because of the added work. Who does that? These guys are beyond generous. I highly recommend these guys. I had a slab leak and had to repipe the whole house. Among the bids I got, repipe pro was the best if you look closely at the parts and materials in the estimate. Donāt be fooled by the ones using generic brands. Also they were trained by the manufacturer for installation. In short, these guys are specialist. The plumbing team of five arrived early and waited outside until the exact appointment time. They worked fast and kept everything covered wall to wall. Five hours later it was all done and clean. Very highly recommend. From the beginning, their estimate was extremely detailed performed by Carlos.. He spend about 1.5 hours going over all the fixtures that needed to be replaced. Zara, the office manager, was fantastic answering all my questions and concerns (and i had a lot of them...) as well as coordinating the inspection and patch work. Ultimately, I choose them to repipe and redrain my entire house. The crew was extremely hard working and efficient. Special thanks to the owner, Mike, who went well above the call of duty spending a lot of time on the job helping his crew and making sure the job went well (i have a fairly large house). Haik did an excellent job installing a sub panel for the kitchen remodeler to use for the kitchen circuits. He is a master electrician and a wonderful teacher besides. His detailed written quote was fair, and he was willing to explain everything, both before and during the install. After installing the sub panel he then went above and beyond and reordered the wiring in the main panel, which previous electricians had left in such a mess that it was very difficult to do anything in. I wholeheartedly recommend you contact him if you need electrical work.

I had a large not-so-white-anymore area rug that was in need of attention. Called Janssen's. I mentioned that I would need it returned by a certain date -due to a preset furniture delivery. When they arrived, they donned their booties at my front door, surveyed the item in question, gave me a very reasonable estimate, moved my furniture, rolled up the rug, moved the furniture back in place, and took it away.
About a week later, they contacted me to set up a delivery day. They then returned and donned their booties again, entered my home with a freshly rolled up rug, set it aside to move the furniture again, unrolled and placed the rug in it's correct position, moved the furniture back in place, gave me an invoice, accepted payment, and went on their way. All the while, they were very friendly, courteous , and careful with my furniture.
The white area rug was white again. Looks like new.

I reached out to Ogi on Nextdoor to find and fix leaks in our roof. Ugoās inspection was thorough, professional, and honest. Instead of trying to sell me a new roof, he discovered that the leaks were due to other parts of the roof (exposed exterior beams, chimney flashing in disrepair). He explained everything fully, gave me a detailed estimate and scope of work, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Based on the heavy rains we had a few days later, everything was completed to a āTā! Daniel and his term were AMAZING! We had a lot of termite damage to the interior and exterior of a home we just bought and we were completely taken care of. Daniel and his team came out and did an inspection of the house which helped us negotiate with the sellers in escrow. Titan came out as soon as we closed to tent the house and make repairs. They removed all of the damaged wood, replaced the wood and painted the areas of the house to perfection. Let me start by saying that Dr. Mike Dellacorte is one of the finest doctors I have ever met. He has complete mastery of his craft and is compassionate and humble to boot. I had been suffering from mild sciatic nerve pain and piriformis syndrome on and off since Spring 2023. The pain grew more intense over Christmas and by February 2024, I was incapacitated. My GP prescribed pain meds, muscle relaxants, and PT and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. While laid up at home, I did some research and discovered that my pain might be coming from adhesions (scar tissue) that have attached themselves to the sciatic nerve. I learned that Active Release Technique (ART) could free nerves without surgery. I scheduled a session with Dr. Mike, an ART specialist. Miraculously, I felt immediate relief after that first session and was able to attend an event in DTLA that night! I continue to see improvement after each visit. Today was my 5th session and I am thrilled to report that I am almost fully healed. I am forever grateful to Dr. Mike for saving me from surgery. My husband has been dealing with some pain in the back of his hand, and I'm sending him to see Dr. Mike, the healer!

I have been seeing Dr. Balabanian for many years. For my personal well being or injury follow up, Dr. Balabanian has never disappointed me. She goes above and beyond her expertise. Dr. Cauble and his tech were so kind and gentle with my 17 year old scaredy cat and I can't overstate that enough. They arrived within an hour of making the appointment. Is it expensive? A little - but honestly, vet prices everywhere have gone up. The total price of the at home visit was only a couple hundred more than our usual vet (if that). The peace of mind of having everything done right in front of us, the speed of being seen, the transparency and thoughtfulness was worth every penny in my opinion. Your pet is the only one they are focused on and they show and explain to you everything they are doing and why. 10/10 experience if you have an animal that you're worried about and you're afraid that taking them to the vet might be more stressful to them- please contact Dr. Cauble and his team.

I have been going to Dr Tang since the mid '90's, when I had a pet cockatiel with my two sons, and more recently since 2007, when my husband and I got our first dog. He saved our dog, Spencer about 15 years ago. He'd had a seizure out of the blue, when he'd accidentally eaten rat poison outside without our knowing it. Dr Tang not only saved Spencer, but that dog went on to live another 10 years almost! Most recently our dog Popper has some autoimmune disease, and Dr Tang has seen us almost 10 times over the past 2 months, trying his best to figure out how to treat this 7-year-old (young!) dog. We have all the confidence in Dr Tang's ability, expertise, and most importantly in his compassion. As others have mentioned, Dr Tang doesn't have great bedside manner with the humans who visit his practice, but he so obviously cares about our pets (his patients, as he said this morning), that I will keep going to him forever. And he is so reasonable, I sometimes wonder how he stays in business! God Bless Dr Tang!

My pets have been with Parkview for a few years. When I called the office they were able to see my cat right away. Dr. Chu is experienced and was able diagnose what was wrong with Max and prescribe the medication needed. Two things I may suggest the texting the check in process is impersonal and problematic for a not tech savy user. Another observation when I called the office two-two and half weeks ago about my catās condition they said they did not see emergency cases. More than likely his condition was a start of what I brought him for this week to be treated for. Being consistent and having a policy of seeing cat first then refer services if needed is what I would recommend.

Angelus is a lovely animal hospital. One of the more affordable vet clinics Iāve found in the LA area. Dr. Teves is really great, and so are the vet techs! I had to bring both of my cats in for separate issues in the same week, and they gave me a good customer discount due to my situation. One cat swallowed a foreign object and the other had a bladder issueā¦.needed x-rays for both cats, and in both cases Dr. Teves showed me the scans and went over his assessment with me in a lot of detail. Iāve never had a vet do that before! I was pretty emotional during this entire debacle, and he answered all of my questions and reassured me. They didnāt push unnecessary surgeries or treatments on me, which other vets in the area WILL do. Both cats bounced back quickly with their treatment plans and I will definitely bring them back for their check ups!
I took my puppy to get groomed for the first time here and they did the absolute best job! So kind, professional, punctual, and such a clean and cute place. What an amazing first time experience at a dog groomers! Me and my bf took our fur baby to Zoom 2 Groom today and it was wonderful! Nuria and her husband took great care of our baby Ellie with so much love and warmth! We were nervous to leave her only because she has never been away with strangers, but she did really good! She loved being in the water and didn't give to much trouble. Safe to say she is happy and so are we! We will definitely be coming back to Zoom 2 Groom! They offer a pick up service but there are a ton of cute cafe spots in the area as well as beautiful drive. Highly recommended

Joalena is an amazing coach! She started off with some sound healing with different types of instruments that got me SO relaxed right at the beginning of our session which was just what I needed; to feel grounded and more relaxed. She also asked a lot of questions instead of telling me what to do which I always love when a coach does that! Joalena helped me a lot with boundaries and coming up with a feel-good morning routine to help me embody my work more and be more mindful. She had some great ideas and feedback to share with me and sent me a Google Doc with all our notes so I don't forget anything. She was confident, present, and caring, and made me feel safe to vent and share what I was struggling with. She is amazing :)

Karo massage therapy is the best massage Iāve ever had. When my back is sore, he has always helped me resolve the issue. Karo is very professional and has 30 years of experience working with athletes and nurses and all sorts of people. Iāve recommended him to many of my friends. Worth every penny!
When my long-time body worker when on hiatus I set out to find someone new. I'm super happy that I found Meg thanks to the other wonderful Yelp reviews. Meg's technique is different in her pace and intuitive nature. She REALLY helps to slow things down, and in this fast-paced world, that is a special gift. The years of honing her craft are evident in every single session, and I'm super grateful I now have the opportunity for regular bodywork again. I highly recommend Meg if you are looking for a someone who will be patient, listen to you and your body, and help you keep striving towards optimal health and wellness.
Great massage! Appreciate that they used icy hot type oil or lotion on the muscles that were tight and required extra hard work. 55$ cash up front for an hour. The massage area is semi - private with a curtain that left some space on either side. A teeny bit awkward since they requested full nude.
Unfortunately, it seemed like my masseuse was a novice in technique, and in procedures. Even though I asked for added pressure a couple of times the entire experience felt like somebody was just rubbing lotion on me. Masseuse, however, was friendly and polite.
Just incredible. Susan and her coworker took me to another world and brought me back. I felt guilty for how intensely relaxed I was after.
I came in during the happy hour (10-2). I asked for an hour massage and they were planning to charge $60 (which is still good price) until I mentioned the happy hour price of $50. (itās $49.99, I used a card it was $51) I also found it awkward to pay first. I requested to wait until after to sign and tip. It was quite difficult to communicate. They used a translation app on phone.I had a pretty good massage. It was definitely Swedish leaning, lighter touch with moments of acupressure. There were also hot stone moments which felt really nice. I did not ask for the stones, but enjoyed. What I didnāt enjoy was her leaving me on the table to go get them and then for several minutes to take them back somewhere and wash them. I feel this could have been done after, not a fan of therapists leaving the room.She actually left the room a total of 3 times for several minutes. I was massaging myself at one point. There was a very loud obnoxious doorbell that went off lots. If you struggle with noise this may not be your place.I actually got cold too. They only cover you with a towel.Some quirks but a decent massage overall. :)
This place is a hidden gem. I usually like to go in the morning before the mall gets noisy. But I had one of the best foot massages.
My husband recommended Oak Massage and I have been coming for about a year now. I have found a lot of healing from this place. When I had chronic fatigue last year, I would come and get massages and feel recharged. It was like the massage would recharge my inner battery a little bit each time. The ladies here played a big part in helping my recovery. Now I'm bringing my daughter every week to get a massage. She has had chronic knee pain and she always feels better after getting a massage. Not only does it reduce the pain on her knees, but she feels completely relaxed. I also wanted to share that I came in today for a 90 minute massage with a level 6 back pain and left with zero back pain. This place is worth every penny to me to improve my health. A huge plus is that the massages are very affordable. I'm very grateful that the prices have stayed reasonable, this has allowed me to get massages more often and even bring my daughter. The masseuses here work very hard and they have always been kind and respectful. I have always been able to communicate with my masseuse with words and hand gestures and gotten by, but you can always download a translation app if you want to communicate better with your masseuse. This place is not fancy, but it is clean, very quiet, the masseuse's are kind, the massages are effective and it's very affordable which makes it sustainable to come regularly. I would recommend this place if you're looking for affordable, effective and regular massages. Also, there's lots of parking!
Service was great! Walked out feeling like a brand new woman.. I got the foot reflexology and it felt amazing !! Also came with a shoulder massage, The ladies was really nice & put a lot of pressure on the areas I needed! Will be back soon. . I will return and try the Japanese Gel they also provide manicure & pedicure and other services!
Massage 4 U has been my Go-To Massage location, and, in my opinion, this location provides the best service for a very reasonable price - especially when comparing to the more traditional massages places that charge hundreds of dollars. Please note that the individual picking up the phone to take the reservation might sound unpolished. Nonetheless, the deep tissue massage given, is unmatched to any place I have been to. The aforementioned service costs $60 / Hour plus a $20 - $30 Tip, which is amazingly cost-effective. The masseuses who have provided service have been very friendly and polite and most important are able to provide a strong deep tissue massage. Highly Recommended by a person, who has been traveling and levering resort luxury massages, which are in nice facilities but if you care more about the quality work, then Massage 4 U is for you.
Had a great message with it wasn't all just elbows. She knew exactly how to soothe my knots and make me feel relaxed. I did the 1 hr full body for $55 & it was a great deal for what I got. I wish I got her name. Will definitely be back!
Dr. Ko is extremely thorough and knowledgable and works diligently to identify the root of the problem. He takes the time to explain, and provides manageable follow-up to do at home. The aides are incredibly friendly and the office is beautifully maintained! I highly recommend!
I came to Fyzical for help with a surgically repaired shoulder. I work with Dr. Jane Mead at Fyzical and she has been incredible at helping me regain flexibility and movement. Dr. Mead covers every aspect from pain management, to flexibility, strength and maintaining proper technique with the exercises to ensure a full recovery. Carmela at the front desk has been very helpful and extremely accommodating in scheduling appointments. The greatest asset of a business is its people, and the caring professionals at Fyzical are the best!
I have been dealing with neck pain and migraine type headaches for WEEEEEEEKS!Went in a few sessions, my pain significantly improved basically a 0. Highly recommended! I especially loved the cupping and scraping treatments.

Dr. Mehrdad Joukar is an amazing partitioner. He is intuitive and skilled in acupuncture. I went for the first time a few months because I injured my foot and was unable to walk for a few days. After my first session I felt an 80% decrease in pain and was able to put pressure on my foot immediately after getting off the table. Acupuncture is a gift to mankind and I could not recommend it more to anyone searching for clean, healing, non-invasive medical care.
I came to Dr. Safaryans for chronic neck and back pain from a car accident 6 months ago. I've been coming here for the last month and it's the first time since my accident I feel hopeful. My pain level is less from just the first treatment. Every treatment I get better and better. She is also so kind and sincere. I've never met a person so passionate and caring about my overall health and wellbeing. I've learned so much about my treatment to heal. She also suggests things to take and ways to eat but she doesn't push it on me, it's more like a guild. The clinic is clean and peaceful. The secretary up front is also so nice and accommodating with appointments. Parking is plenty.
I suggested this place to my whole family. I'd definitely come for treatment for any type of healing need.

I can't overstate how much Danielle's expertise in acupuncture and wellness has transformed our lives. Ms. Koo is excellet I have been to her may times. She cured my wounded tendentious in my arm and most recently has bee treating me for a chronic bronchitis infection that conventional doctors ad Western medicine has ot been able to help and I have see great improvement. She is also excellent with herbs and elixirs for the gut, weight and may conditions. She takes a lot of time with you. If you have bloodwork that is recent bring it. She is amazing.
Dr. Toomassian is a top notch professional. She listens well, is attentive, thorough, and conscientious. Equally important, she is very kind.

WOW. What an incredible experience! I came in looking to alleviate the pain and stiffness in my arms from a recent move and walked out feeling 10 years younger. Alin was incredibly accommodating and I was stunned by her expertise and knowledge. I have an autoimmune disease that affects my joints and ligaments, so I've done acupuncture several times before (as well as massages and myriad holistic and medical treatments for joint and muscle pain), but I have NEVER had the immediate relief and relaxation provided at Zen Acupuncture & Herbs. Highly highly recommend!
Hratch is incredible! I could not walk due to my sciatica and Doctors recommended me surgery, otherwise I can be paralyzed. I went to Hratch with a cane, could not walk without a cane due to the excruciating pain. I am under his care, I have never done any surgery and I am as healthier than I could ever be.
Came to Dr. Lam for pain in my lower back and not only is that gone after three sessions but he's helped me with so much more! I am less bloated, sleep better, no headaches, I could keep going.. I was skeptical about acupuncture vs western medicine but nothing in the western side was helping.. only masking the pain and omgoodness this has changed my life. Dr. Lam is very nice and has great bedside manner and always makes you feel comfortable as well as explains everything to you. I highly recommend.
Hard to believe I haven't posted a review for Dr. Tsai yet, given I have been seeing him regularly since February for intercostal neuralgia (rib nerve pain), costochondritis, and gastrointestinal issues. My symptoms have caused a lot of pain, so I've been going twice a week. And this is the second time I'm doing acupuncture with Dr. Tsai, because I originally saw him many years ago when I first lived in LA (and then moved back to Chicago for a few years, and then back again to LA). When I started having this pain again (interfering with walking, sitting, work, etc.), I immediately remembered Dr. Tsai and how successful he was in helping me with my (previous) lower back issues. I so appreciate everything he does to try to help: he listens to take an accurate diagnosis, checks in at every appointment, makes adjustments as needed. The office has three rooms so he can treat several patients at a time, but I have never had an issue getting an appointment (even last minute, and I know for a fact he works late night sometimes if his patients need him). The fee he charges ($70) is reasonable for acupuncture services. There have been times he's even let me keep "napping" in the room (if no other patients/appointment conflicts) for an extra 20-30 minutes if I'm having a rough day. He also prescribes herbs if appropriate (I have had some success with these, but I'm doing other supplements too). My diagnosis are not quick fixes, but Dr. Tsai's treatment, along with other modalities, is slowly helping. Dr. Tsai is a very nice person, an excellent acupuncturist, and I appreciate his help. Parking in back of building (1 visitor spot assigned to his office suite, 2 visitor spots, otherwise street parking - I don't usually have issues finding a spot). Convenient location right off Brand Ave.
Dr Chang is amazing. She is sensitive and intuitive and combines her knowledge of chiropractic into her treatment. I highly recommend her and Shin Acupuncture.
I should have posted my review years ago! Serj was very instrumental with helping my daughter get her drivers license. He was patient and had the skills to help an extremely anxious teenager get over the fear of driving. The best part was she is a safe and confident driver! I highly recommend Serj, especially for those who really scared and need help with learning to drive with confidence. Serj ensures teaching his students to drive safe while knowing the rules.
