“Today, I am especially grateful for Borel Eye Doctors group. I had an eye injury from a chemical burn over the Labor Day holiday. Unfortunately, I knew the doctors may already be booked and short staffed due to the long holiday. I called and left a message with Dr Arnesty's office this morning to try to get in today to have an examination of my eye, as it was basically swollen shut and tearing profusely this morning. Despite the holiday weekend, one of the doctors in the office--Dr. Marks, was able to see me over her lunch break to examine my eyes and to make sure that there was no infection or serious damage. She was very helpful and I left feeling much relieved. Shortly after, I received a follow up call from Dr. Artnesty, who is also so kind and thorough with her patients. “I have dry eyes and needed a pair of glasses made by Ziena - very few optometrists carry them which is a shame. They have incredibly comfortable silicone seals so your tears don't evaporate very easily. My ophthalmologist recommended them and they are fantastic. Equally fantastic is Robert. He is the best optician I've ever had! Especially if you have astigmatism, you'll appreciate the extra care that he takes to pinpoint where your eyes naturally focus. He doesn't do eye exams, so be prepared to bring him your prescription.“

“First off, I'd like to say I've never had such wonderful, personalized service for my optical needs. Jeff and Rod are both amazing opticians who deliver white glove service when it came to getting a pair of classes that suited my needs, style, and face frame. When it came to selecting a pair of glasses I was looking for something that was bold, elegant, professional, but could also be used for driving/in the sun. It seemed like I was pursing four types of glasses, but they truly helped me narrow it down to one pair. I ended up getting a pair of designer sunglasses and they were able to order a pair of transition lenses and put them in. The turnaround time was about one week which was great! Store wise, Peninsula Optical is a bright, modern and very clean optical shop. They have a great selection of Cartier and Maui Jim. While I was in picking up my glasses, the Maui Jim representative came in to personally give them the newest styles, so they definitely have the latest and greatest. They also carry their own brand as well. For anyone coming here, do be prepared for street parking as the shop is located on University Ave. Lastly, if you need prescription glasses, make sure to bring your prescription as there is no optometrist.“

“I’ve been loyal to LensCrafters for years but recently I’ve found they don’t have a good selection of glasses with a slimmer profile and it’s never a fast experience there. So I decided to give my local optometrist a shot and walked into Woodside Optometry. I was immediately greeted by Monse, who took the time to make sure I had all my questions answered. She even helped me decide between a couple options I was torn between and was able to determine what glasses would be best for my skinner facial features. She then helped me maximize the discounts from my insurance company and made sure to use my insurance on sunglasses (as opposed to the regular glasses) which maximized the amount of coverage! She took the time to explain the different options for coating and polarization. I ended up getting a killer deal on 2 pairs of glasses with all the coatings and polarization and I was in and out within 30 min as a walk-in customer (I came in with my own prescription.) Monse made the whole experience of picking out glasses very fun and stress free. The glasses I selected are so light that I hardly even know I'm wearing them. The fitting was meticulous. I will come back here rather than the large chain optical shops. Menlo Optical really knows what they are doing, and glasses are too expensive to be unhappy with the final product.“
