Optica is in a new location and doing great. The staff was very friendly and professional. Dr Chew was a great Dr. He couldn't have been more helpfull. I will recommend this Dr to everyone.

We love Optica Optometry. We have been customers for over 20 years and follow Dr. Chew wherever he moves his office! He is very kind, but thorough. He’s conservative and “watches” situations before alarming his clients. We follow whatever he suggests and have done well with all our eye care with him. His staff is great as well. Always friendly and polite. Getting appointments is not difficult, especially if you re-book for the next one in advance! AND they are open Saturdays too! Photo below is the Millbrae office. A new one is opening at 988 El Camino Real in SoSF, they have moved from the previous SSF location near JoAnn’s Cafe.

Dr. Florendo is very thorough and took time to listen to my concerns and address each one. The exam was very though and every step was explained in detail. The office staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well. I came away knowing that I am in very good care for my vision. Also, there is a large selection of frames to choose from.
