Beyond their service, I'm more impressed with the grace they gave when it was time to collect when payment became an issue. (My most embarrassing fear came to pass, and they were gracious enough to let me save face) While I don't wish anyone any plumbing emergencies on anyone, if ever that happens. “In June of 2021 Alanis air installed heat an air conditioning in an older mobile home for me..So friday January 26th 2024.I returned to Oceanside from Florida after being gone for 4 months.A warning came up on the thermostat saying it wasn't working so a neighbor loned me small Space Heater and I slept with 4 heavy blankets on me. Never got above 60° in my house..I called my home Warranty company that night. they could not find anyone & three Days later they left me a Voicemail saying we can't help you we can't find anybody ,so get Someone on your own. and will reimburse you.I looked back through my records and found Alanis air I called and Stephan answered immediately just like the time when I contcted Angie's List he me on the phone immediately Within about 10 minutes time from when i'd contacted Angie's list..Even while he was in northern California at a wedding.... No isn't that someone who goes the extra mile?I ordered as soon as His Father came over to give me an estimate and was very pleased.Needless to say they're gonna come out and fix whatever it is whether it's the thermostat or Whatever The issue is. A fairly new system That's.worked beautifully..Kudos to Stephan for how wonderful they are immediate response. He remembered me right away I don't know if he was in the office and he quickly looked me up but he Even told me about the warranty coverage. “With a large house that is over 50 years old, we started having pin-hole leaks in the copper pipe. One was in a wall and easy for me to fix. The latest was under the slab. We limped along by turning the main off/on as needed. Called out a plumber who did nothing. Called out a leak detector who found the leak and advised where to cap the pipe so we could have water to the rest of the house. This bought us time to consider our next move. Decided that a repipe with PEX would be the best solution and got five quotes. Pipe-It-Right was the next to lowest but the lowest did not include one of the bathrooms on the quote and they wouldn’t respond to requests to correct the quote. The highest bid by far was from a well-known plumbing company that must have quoted full plumber rates and did not know the shortcuts in doing a total repipe. Another company that specialized in repipes, was like dealing with a used car salesman (I’ll show you the quote after you tell me what you think it should be, discount if you sign now, another discount to make a sales quota, etc.). They were the next highest bid. Then, Albert from Pipe-It-Right came buy for a walk-through and quote. To my surprise, there was no sales pitch. I asked him why? He said, “I’m a plumber, not a salesman.” We got along great after that and went with them. We wanted to schedule the repipe when it was convenient for us, and they were very accommodating. When the day came for the repipe, a crew of 4 worked for 2 days. At the end of the first day, the house had enough water to occupy. At the end of the second day, it was done. They were very friendly and responsive to my questions and a pleasure to work with. Next, the drywall repair guys came which was 6 guys working for 2 days. You have never seen a happier group of workers. Behind the coordination of all this work is Cynthia in the back office who had fantastic and timely response to emails and calls. I had a painter friend of mine pained over the patches and the house was better than before. This was one of those experiences where you look back and think, this was so easy. I highly recommend these folks. Fear not If you need your whole house repiped, these are the people to go with. Get it done with very little life disruption and watch the amazing work they do. I received no incentive of any kind for this review. I write this solely for the benefit of people like me who are wondering how to deal with an old house with worn out plumbing.“
