“In June of 2021 Alanis air installed heat an air conditioning in an older mobile home for me..So friday January 26th 2024.I returned to Oceanside from Florida after being gone for 4 months.A warning came up on the thermostat saying it wasn't working so a neighbor loned me small Space Heater and I slept with 4 heavy blankets on me. Never got above 60° in my house..I called my home Warranty company that night. they could not find anyone & three Days later they left me a Voicemail saying we can't help you we can't find anybody ,so get Someone on your own. and will reimburse you.I looked back through my records and found Alanis air I called and Stephan answered immediately just like the time when I contcted Angie's List he me on the phone immediately Within about 10 minutes time from when i'd contacted Angie's list..Even while he was in northern California at a wedding.... No isn't that someone who goes the extra mile?I ordered as soon as His Father came over to give me an estimate and was very pleased.Needless to say they're gonna come out and fix whatever it is whether it's the thermostat or Whatever The issue is. A fairly new system That's.worked beautifully..Kudos to Stephan for how wonderful they are immediate response. He remembered me right away I don't know if he was in the office and he quickly looked me up but he Even told me about the warranty coverage. “I LOVE my new windows! The whole team from Energy Core Construction was great! I was dubious about the reduction of street noise that was promised, but I can now 100% say that the new windows have made a vast improvement on the street noise and I live on a very busy, non-stop, all day trafficked street. The window function is super easy to use. The look is great and I've also noticed how much cooler my home is after coming home and not having run my AC at all! I also really like the security stop allowing me to keep my windows open a few inches throughout the night, but still feel secure. (Also great in lowering energy costs and starting the day with a cool house)The entire team from Josh with sales to all the install guys to Jared with project management it was all terrific work. The entire install on my 10 windows was four hours(!) from arrival on property to DONE!Highly recommend! Wish I had done it years ago!“

We have an elderly dog that also appreciates the repair!Pros:The appointment process was extremely fast.Sean was very professional, on-time, and courteous. He quickly diagnosed the issue and performed the repair, and answered all of my questions. It's also rare to see a serviceperson bring their own shoe covers.Cons:My only ding for the service was the cost, which appeared to be a flat fee. I think this company is good for when you want someone to just "take care of it" which I needed in this case.“

“Our 21 yo gas wall heater in our accessory unit in Encinitas would only turn on intermittently for many years, needing to be kicked to respond. We had a different repairman come out to “fix” it 5 years ago, but when we called him back within the week because it still wasn’t fixed, he charged us again to come out and still didn’t really fix it. We went ahead and replaced the thermostat ourselves which seemed to help. That left us not trusting his competency, so when it flat out wouldn’t start at all this season, we searched for someone who would be more competent (and available.)In making calls around (based on google and yelp reviews), I quickly learned that most of the bigger companies weren’t interested in my little wall furnace (everything has shifted to HVAC over the years), and likely many of their service people would not have the experience working on an older wall furnace.Then I found Jim’s A/C and Heating. I liked the fact that it is a small company and Jim himself does most of the work, who has been in business for many decades. Nothing takes the place of experience. I called and left a message about the problem and Jim himself called me back later that same day and was able to come out to evaluate the problem the next day. Well, not only did he methodically and patiently go through a thorough evaluation, he was able to replace a needed part (fortunately, he actually had this part in his truck, which had been there for years…it’s an old furnace!), and also checked out anything else that could be the problem. Presto! It’s now responsive and working well. He also let us know that if it fails anytime over the next 30 days that we would not be charged another service fee to come out again.Jim told me that one of his very first jobs was repairing Sears wall heaters. It’s obvious that he really knows what he’s doing! Not only that, he is kind, friendly, incredibly patient and charges very reasonably. He also didn’t try to upsell me, pointing out that the heater body is still solid and should last a lifetime. What a good and ethical man! We are grateful to have found him, and he will now be our go-to guy for any heater or HVAC problems!“

Technician, Giancarlo, was very helpful , He has gone above and beyond my expectations. He did a great job and cleaned up everything. My house gets nice and cold and also nice and warm when needed.
