I have never had a consultation like that before, and it made me feel so comfortable moving forward. And I love how my brows came out! The Intro package was perfect because he gets into your astrology, numerology, and beyond. I had never felt so understood by someone I just met.The physical energy work surprised me too. I have always been afraid to see an esthetician (even though I've been experiencing acne and skin challenges) because I thought it would be too superficial of an approach and I would be prescribed toxin-filled products. That is not the case with Spa de Esperanza! Kristina is very knowledgeable and holistic (internal, external, nutritional, emotional). Her approach is healing on all levels and I am so grateful I found her. If you've been hesitant to see an esthetician, Kristina makes the experience so safe and nurturing, and her approach is helpful for healing the root cause of skin problems, not just a superficial short term fix.“
“Elanita Korian made me feel perhaps the best I’ve ever felt, in one of the worst weeks of my life. I contacted her the week I came down with Bell’s Palsy (partial facial paralysis) after my doctor said acupuncture might help. I was a mess—scared and unsure of what was going on with my body. After a quick phone consultation, Elanita fit me into her busy schedule, and I’m so grateful that she did.Elanita did acupuncture on my face, hands, and feet, LED light therapy on my face, and light cupping on my face, as well as using essential oils. I’d never had acupuncture before seeing Elanita, so I had no idea what to expect, but afterward, I felt lighter. I felt like I was floating and like a burden had been lifted. I felt really cared for at a moment when I needed someone to care for me. Her demeanor is calming, and I felt like she was really listening to me. Elanita followed up by recommending an iron and herb supplement for energy—I’ve been taking it and I think it’s helpful—and she immediately sent notes about me to a different acupuncturist I planned to see who takes my insurance. Her practice is conveniently located downtown, right by Muni and BART, and the space is lovely.I’d had nothing to compare my visit to at the time, but now I’ve been to a couple of acupuncturists who take my insurance, and there’s just no comparison. Other acupuncturists I’ve seen are just people sticking needles in my face and body, which might or might not help, but seeing Elanita was transformative. I’m planning to go back to Elanita and splurge on paying out of pocket because I’ve never felt so good in my life.“

She was responsive to my request for an appointment and asked questions to get a sense of my skin care needs, including allergies. The studio is a relaxing, pleasant environment and Charlotte was friendly, professional and obviously has a lot of knowledge about what she does. I appreciated that she told me in advance about what she was about to do and how it would feel. Charlotte has a gentle touch, and even though my face was a little pink afterwards as can be expected, my skin was very happy and much improved by the next day. “I visited Alexandra's Muse for a facial, which turned out great. I felt very relaxed and my skin was very smooth afterwards. During my appointment Alexandra did some exfoliation, moisturizing, and extractions, as one expects during a facial, but also a nice short head, face, and arm massage, all on a heated mattress, with music on, which made the whole experience very calming. Alexandra herself was also lovely. Would highly recommend.“
