He didn't charge me the emergency call fee. I had a quote for water heater replacement in my inbox the next morning. I ended up going with a firm specialized in switching from gas to electric but I would definitely call RotoRooter/ Premier for help in the future.

I appreciated the way she handled the situation. Afterwards, she kind of rushed me out of the shop and I thought that was a little rude. But overall I would recommend because my situation alone had nothing to do with the quality of the service.
Dennis does a phenomenal job at finding simple and safe solutions to complex electrical problems. He worked on installing my whole house fan and updating lighting in my kitchen and adding fan vents to my bathrooms. He understands the Davis City permits and is easy to work with.

You better know what you want repaired when you go to an alteration shop, this isn't Amazon. Maybe her pants ripped because her belly is too damn big. Maybe lose some weight first and then go get your pants repaired?
Jeannie was so wonderful to work with and incredibly skilled! She was very honest about pricing and provided an incredible value. Her alterations transformed my wedding dress and reception dress and I got so many compliments on the big day!

Dr. Raneem is amazing! Very knowledgeable, strong and efficient at her treatments. She uses a variety of techniques including the activator method which is a slightly more gentle tool, to help my back. If you have low back, sciatic, pelvic, tailbone or other lower lumbar pain, she seems to be incredibly talented in that arena. She always listens to my concerns, supports my bodies healing and puts me in alignment every week. Davis is lucky to have her.
Dr. Wilson is easy to talk to, very professional and efficient. I've been having residual lower back pain and he's been diligently helping me overcome it. I am not a fan of rough chiropractic methods, and this place is very mellow. The office is old school, but comfortable and I really enjoy seeing all the hummingbirds. All in all it's a good place and I will likely be back.

I confess. I made a mistake. My clients got an accepted offer and I forgot to send the contract to The Sinor Group, the lender who my clients had decided to work with. FINALLY!!! I found a stylist who actually knows how to cut my hair! Jerry first worked his magic on my curly hair during my second year at UC Davis. He not only cut my hair to become more manageable and cut it properly for my kind of hair, but he educated me on what routines and hairstyles were damaging my hair and provided me with hair products that brought my curls to LIFE! Through hair masks, more nourishing shampoos, and conditioners he left me loving my curly hair like ever before. Now that Im graduating from college I am so grateful for the magic he was able to do with my crazy curly hair. Hannah is a MASTER. Fantastic color - so much so that other stylists regularly comment on it. She's quick, too, which is so, so helpful. Cut is great. Overall, a true gem. One star off only because she is booked so far out! Allow 4-6 weeks. Maybe she could mentor up an associate?

Overall I’m very satisfied with the service here, but be sure to book an appointment online ahead of time cause sometimes if you stop by without booking an appointment there’ll be no available slots. Jerry is not your traditional barber - he's a stylist. what this means is you shouldn't come in and tell him how to cut your hair, but instead come with an open mind and expect Jerry to recommend a style which he believes looks best for you. And believe me, I've had my doubts until I saw the finished product. He cuts like he's been doing it his whole life! He has such vision. Definitely recommend

If you're looking for a new barber, look no further. I recently moved back to the area and needed a cut bad. I checked all the local spots in yelp and noticed lots of good reviews from Razor's Edge so I gave them a shot. I tired walking in first but the team was booked solid, o called a few days later, the team was still pretty booked but luckily for me, there was 2 spots open the following day. Until my recent move, I had been going to the same lady for over 20-years. I had a couple photos of the type of cut I wanted, I showed them to Sukh and after a minute he got down to business. He moves quickly but not rushed, he's just really good at his craft. We chatted it up while he cut my hair and after what seemed like just a few minutes, he was finishing up and having me look my new cut which was great. Luckily for me I found my new spot and I'll be back for sure!

Review for a men's hair cut, I was in need of a complete new style for me, something of a departure for myself from my usual hairstyle cuts. There is a wonderful talented woman who works there who sat me down and asked me...."What do you want?" When I mentioned the type of cut that I was looking for she smiled and said "No problem, I make you handsome!" and much to my surprise she did just that.... I received so many compliments from people at my work but the one that really got me was from a complete stranger at Costco who said they really liked my haircut. Cut come down and see this talented lady and just ask for Cindy.

I love coming here every two weeks to have the deluxe manicure and pedicure. Walkins allowed or call to schedule. They recently upgraded all their massage chairs and workstations -- looks nice. The staff are pleasant and energetic ; they play relaxing music to create a peaceful atmosphere. I like the paraffin treatment on my hands and feet. My feet look so good I could be a hand and foot model. They offer a huge selection of nail technology and colors -- I don't do color but I can observe ladies getting color and they comment how much they love the selection. You have a high tech massage chair to enjoy during pedicure, and human provided neck and head massage post pedicure. They use square for credit card payment. Overall highly recommend. Around the corner are great lunch and coffee shops to visit before or after your visit.

By far the best salon I've been to!! I've been going to Vanessa for 10+ years. I won't let anyone else touch my hair. I can show her any picture and she knows exactly what will work best for me. Ive done blonde, brunette, purple, red, copper, and orange. I've had waist long hair, bangs and shoulder length hair. It's never been damaged with her guidance and recommendations. I've been on my curly hair journey recently which has been a learning process for me. Vanessa has given me curly hair products that have made a drastic improvement on the way my hair curls. I have embraced my curls because of her. She always recommend the best products that fit my needs. The salon is so cute and staff is always welcoming and sweet.

I bleached my hair myself making it an unflattering brassy orangey color and she fixed me up so well, going back to my original color and then adding in some highlights too. What a gem of a nail salon!! Marielle and Gabby run this small business nail salon in Davis and are literally the best. Make sure to book an appointment online--they often can't take walk ins because of how booked they are. Marielle did the cutest set of gel-x nails for me that lasted over a month with minimal lifting and was so fun to talk to throughout my appt. Be aware that both sisters value quality over quantity and book accordingly--they will take the time to prep your nails and won't rush the final product like your typical salon would. Overall, I'm so happy I've found this high quality, local nail salon and won't be going anywhere else!

George is absolutely amazing. The talent is undeniable. The music was epic. The studio had a great vibe with all the artistic samples. I came here to get a daith piercing removed because I had just been told I needed hearing aids. I was pretty upset as I loved the piercing so much and was struggling with losing it and I think the piercer could tell. He gave me the time I needed to collect myself and some really kind words and removed it and waived the charge for me. In a hard moment, I could not have been more appreciative of the kindness and the professionalism I was shown. I would recommend Death or Glory to anybody- from someone getting their very first piercing to someone with (as I've been told) maybe a few too many ear piercings :) I also came here for my first tattoo a couple years ago and was thrilled with the product. It was a simple design but they were super patient as I asked them to change the placement over and over and worked to make sure the design was one I loved. They were clean, respectful, and really nice and walked me through the aftercare and the tattoo has held up beautifully. Overall I felt super safe and comfortable here. The prices were very good for both services and I would say the piercing services were cheaper than what I have seen in the Bay Area comparatively. I am a big fan of the shop and wish I could keep coming here if it wasn't for moving out of the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with the MAK team on our garage conversion in Davis. Every single team member showed a commitment to quality and transparency, and they were all very respectful and pleasant. We never had to worry about the overall quality of the work because our project manager was on site every day to make sure every aspect of the build was taken care of. We also enjoyed working with the design team and appreciated their guidance. We ended up with an airy and modern looking multi-use room and beautiful bathroom that fits our personal style! The team even helped us problem solve a unique storage solution that made up for the loss of our garage. We plan to use this team again for our upcoming kitchen and second bath remodel.
We needed some major renovation work involving the conversion of a outdoor sun room into enclosed living space, and we knew it would be a complicated project so we hired a local building designer well-versed in Davis codes. With the plans and city approval in hand we started approaching the big-name local construction firms and were immediately met with resistance, as all insisted we shelve our design plans ($$!!!!) and use their own designers. They wanted to control all aspects of the construction, including the design, and although I respect that, I was not about to throw away $6,000 and an approved city permit. I contacted Mike Pesola, the owner of Bedrock Construction after doing some background checks, and he called back within a day. All I can say is I found Mike Pesola a true professional who was interested in how we wanted the project done, and was a project leader who made it happen. He took the plans and studied them and came to me within a week with an estimate that was within $5,000 of my own estimate of what the job should cost. We did it in two phases, starting in the fall, and then restarted again in April. Any costs outside of the contractual plan was clearly allocated, usually because we as owners decided to upgrade certain fixtures, but in all cases there were no surprises and the project moved forward on schedule and on budget. As a former contract administrator, I can tell you this requires both parties to pay attention to the details and keep both sides informed, which is exactly what happened. His crews were polite, cleaned up after the days work, and arrived when they said they were coming. When there were issues, and in construction projects there always are, Mike was there and things were ironed out seamlessly. Because of Covid 19 concerns, we delayed the planned 2nd phase by almost a month, and Mike worked with us in rescheduling his crews. Mike's father was a building contractor in NYC, and it was obvious Mike learned the business the right way. We are extremely pleased with the results and recommend Bedrock without any hesitation. It is a family business and run the way I would run my own business. Bottom line, project was delivered on time, on budget, with excellent results with no issues with the city or our neighbors! Thumbs up, Mike! Fine work!

I was in agony for a week because wisdom tooth filling came out 2 months and got infected. Pain scale >9000/10. I had to wait 2 more weeks for insurance to start. It was so painful and I already finished maybe 2 bottles of ibuprofen. Couldn't sleep for days. My liver and I couldn't take it anymore so I googled for 5 stars dentist which was open that day and called them. I knew nothing about no-insurance dental service in the US, so I was expecting very expensive procedure the week after our something, since it was Friday morning when I called.Instead they were really amazing! They immediately got me an appointment within next 2 hours. They gave me a clear cost estimate which I think is very fair for X-ray, anesthesia, and pulling teeth ($250ish). The procedure was fast & straightforward, literally ZERO pain throughout, and it was over before I knew it. The most was maybe ant-bite level pain during anesthesia injection, which honestly was nothing. I just got out when writing this review - finally no more pain!!! Definitely coming back to them for future dental maintenance!

All the 5 star reviews are spot on. I have had Chiropractors work on my neck and back for almost 30 years, all over the world. Most just going thru the academics, roll and crack you and sell you some vitamins or sports rub, a select few have an instinct and skill for understanding the anatomy of their patients and truly helping without harming, Dr. Poland is one of those exceptions, he is a really good chiropractor.

Dr. Natalie is great! I’ve been seeing her for the past 5 or 6 years and she has made such a huge difference in managing my pain and maintaining my overall health. She has so much knowledge and is very personable. There are a lot of chiropractors out there but I can say from experience that Dr. Natalie is truly one of the best.
I have been going to Dr. Cloyd for chiropractic care for 10 years and only have the highest recommendation of him. He addresses the physical pain that I need adjusted as well as helps with preventative care. He is also kind, friendly, welcoming, accommodating and cares about the well-being of the patient. Parents, his office also has kids toys if you need to bring your children with you. I highly recommend!

I was very hesitant to see a chiropractor after a bad experience decades ago, but was having residual pain from a recent car accident. Dr. Wilson explained how the body works, what methods he would use to treat my pain and also what I could do at home to recover faster. Very kind and knowledgeable and obviously passionate about his craft, he put my anxiety to ease. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson for any nerve related or muscle pain.
My experience with Dr. Hartz was absolutely great. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia some years ago and Dr Hartz helped me a lot to relieve some back and neck pain and tension. What I liked the most is that patient-doctor relationship never felt "vertical" but "horizontal": he is really open to suggestions and he is super interesting and fun to chat with.
Working Body Chiropractic is a great place to go for holistic health/body care. The two chiropractors on staff--Doctors Michael and Raneem--are fantastic, each with a slightly different approach to treatment. (Dr. Michael is very gentle and thorough with a full body approach to treatment while Dr. Raneem has a firm touch that can really focus in on troubled areas.) As a young athlete, I found chiropractic treatment to be a lifesaver, helping me with healing the damage I have caused to my body over the years, and I continue to rely on it in my middle years to just repair the damage my kids have now wrought on my body. Additionally, I have found chiropractic treatment does wonders for my migraines. I have been treated by both doctors and I love how they each work!

Hot Yoga Davis has greatly improved my health and well being. The heat greatly increases flexibility and the order of the postures build on one another to create a great 90 minute workout. Erin provides corrections without calling anyone out, but I know and appreciate when such suggestions are directed at me. Erin’s teaching of the class has advanced my yoga practice since taking my first class with her in 2022.
Akasha is a truly special yoga studio. All the teachers are thoughtful, caring, and creative. Not only do I feel challenged by the classes but I always feel safe! I love love taking classes and find myself rejuvenated and restored after each one.
Excellent training at any level. Laura is exceptional at working with people to help them learn to build their strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical well-being. Classical Pilates teaches you a way to learn to listen to your body in terms of what you need and how to get there and Laura is a gifted teacher and guide.

Deep tissue massage with Kat highly recommended. Quiet studio with a sound table that pairs well with massage. Kat is quite a healer with a very firm touch that has helped to reduce my migraines and recover from sports injuries. Cool downtown location by coffee and tea shops that make my visits to Kat more like a spa day.
I had a great massage with Katie. She adapted to what I needed and left me completely relaxed. Since I'm not from Davis, it took longer than I expected to find the location, but I will gladly go back. I liked the peace and privacy of the location.

The session was both relaxing and therapeutic. I felt a significant improvement immediately after the massage and continued to feel better throughout the day. I came in with pain and left without pain. This guy knows his stuff. He has a unique massage style that I haven’t experienced before. I asked for deep tissue massage and it was deep tissue with different techniques. The atmosphere is really relaxing and the taste of music is definitely more modern than most massage places.

I've been going to see Erick for at least four years, maybe longer. I have a very physical job and I'm active. He keeps me functional and in good shape to keep doing the things I love to do. He makes me feel super comfortable on the table. He has a lot of knowledge and fun tools in his kit like cupping and a massage gun. He is a massage therapist that knows how to get deep in the muscles but not to the point of pain. I have been to other therapists that brag about how much pain they can put you in with deep tissue. No thanks, not for me. Erick has just the right touch! I wouldn't be in the shape I'm in without him. He's truly a necessity in my life. I see him religiously and don't plan on changing that! You will not regret making an appointment!

Been seeing Sophia for deep tissue massage and she is one of the few l've found that practice some of the deep tissue standing moves on the hamstrings back and shoulders. Definitely great for athletes and active people. She is a little distracted at times but that goes with running a business and overall the massage is great for the price
Whenever my husband and I are in Davis to visit our daughter, we get massages at Zen Day Spa. They are very friendly and they do excellent work.
Itay is a conscious, thoughtful, sensitive, and knowledgeable practitioner. He knows how to listen, and has the insights necessary to not only be a great physical acupuncturist, but also, a refined practitioner of the art of acupuncture. My husband and I are so thankful we found him and recommend him highly.
I'm really glad that Johanna was recommend to me highly by my massage therapist. I was having extremely bad perimenopause symptoms (hot flashes, sweating, heart palpitations), and since taking a combination of supplements and working with Johanna those have dramatically reduced. When I'm laying in her office with my needles in, I feel relaxed looking up at the pink ceiling while listening to the bird sounds. Her style of practice is to use a medium amount of needles (about 15-25) a session and she changes the placement of the needles each time. Oh, and I forgot to mention her rates are definitely reasonable and she does accept FSA/HSA cards which is a plus!
