“My dog Callie always loves to go see her doctor CC. Dr. CC really cares for my dog.
Also, the office workers are very friendly and the rooms are very clean.“
“Excellent!!
I had a wonderful experience at this clinics!! The staffs and doctor was very helpful and friendly!! I recommend going to this clinic !! 5/5!! Excellent and great service !! And thanks to Javeria & Summayya!!“
“I love this place! The doctor is nice and you can tell he really cares about our pets!“
“I brought my pup here for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed! This is the first vet I’ve been to who hasn’t tried to upsell me. Dr. Randle was honest and efficient. I got the test results back within a couple of hours and I got the invoice right away to submit to insurance. Daniela was very kind, efficient, and compassionate. We will be back and I’ll be transferring my other pup here too.“
“WE LOVE Camino Real Pet Clinic! All their staff is kind, attentive and caring. We were recommended last year around November to this clinic by my pup's groomer after she found some of Butter's rotten teeth that needed to take care of. Of all the clinics that I called, Camino Real was the most attentive one. They actually care about your pet. Dr. Ten, Butter's vet, made sure to check up fully on Butter and had all the necessary lab works before the procedure. Dr. Ten explained to me what to expect and kept me informed all the time on the day of the procedure. Though Butter needed to have more teeth extracted than originally planned, Dr. Ten only charged us for her hours, not per tooth. Thus, I'm so grateful to Dr. Ten and Camino Real Pet Clinic for their reasonable charge and superb service!

We've been a regular customer of Camino Real Pet Clinic ever since. We live in San Jose but I'm willing to drive Butter here for quality and caring pet services.

The clinic is a quaint historical house and it has a small parking lot in the back and along its side and one spot in the front. It can accommodate up to 5 cars, I believe. I've never had problem finding parking here.

Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Ten and the Camino Real Pet Clinic to anyone!“
“My dog started seeing Dr. Hoppe a couple of years ago when we moved to the area and she's excellent. The practice is (pleasantly) busy with professional and friendly staff who handle what could be total chaos with great organization, good spirits, and positivity. We recently had reason to see Dr. West for an urgent situation and he was excellent as well. It's such a great comfort to me to have a veterinary practice so close to home that I can rely on with confidence and know that not only is my dog going to be treated by professionals and experts, but that I am also going to be treated kindly and professionally. I greatly appreciate all the hard work that goes into making a practice successful and heartily recommend Burlingame Family Pet Hospital.“
“We've been taking our cat here for years and they've taken good care of our cat. The recommendations and advice we've received have been pragmatic and sound. When she needed dental surgery, the experience was as good as we could have hoped.“
“By far, best vet I have ever gone to. Everyone there is so pleasant. They welcome you with warm smiles and greetings. The vets are amazing and genuinely care about your pet. I see Dr Chiu and she is not only an amazing vet but just a great human! She meets you where you are, in terms of your pets care and is so gentle and caring with your pet. I have also seen Dr Hauge (sp?) and she is also wonderful! I have yet to meet anyone there who isn’t warm and welcoming. I def recommend San Bruno Pet Hospital.“
“My dog has been in the care of Avenues Pet Hospital for 3 years now. It can sometimes take a while to be seen for non-urgent stuff, such as the very first new client appointment and the annual exam, but otherwise my dog gets seen quite quickly as things come up (usually within a few days, and via email or phone when I have concerns but am not sure if they are worth an appointment). They did not allow people inside for a long while due to Covid safety restrictions, but we can now go inside to wait in the waiting room, and accompany our pets during their appointment. It seems silly for other reviews to complain about this when it was for a valid reason and not an arbitrary policy. The only times I can't accompany my dog is when he comes in for his regular nail trim and gland expression as an out-patient - this is done in the back where pet owners aren't allowed. FYI I get his nails done at the vet bc he has particularly long blood vessels / quicks in his nails, so I feel safer about it being done here, even though it's a roughly-done trim and I file them smooth at home. The vets are kind and I always feel like I'm getting their honest assessment. Front desk is also always very helpful. For reviews that mention they're rude - it can depend on the person tbh, but if anything I think some can be less warm than others, and I would *not* say at all that they've ever been rude. I think they're really busy nonstop and are doing their best to get through patients in an efficient manner -- and that can sometimes be interpreted as being a little cold, when really it's just being neutral. As a society we tend to think women are "cold" when they're not overly warm and are otherwise just being normal & neutral, yet don't think that of men doing the same. So let's check our gender bias, alright? One word of advice that I learned the hard way - most medications are substantially cheaper at Chewy or Costco, so ask them to send out the prescription! The vet office has zero problem doing that and it's never awkward. It's not a perfect system since Costco doesn't have everything, and Chewy takes some days for delivery (i.e., doesn't work for meds needed the same day). I don't say this as a knock against the hospital, as I think this is common practice for vets and helps keep the lights on. I instead say this as a heads up, because I didn't know this for the longest time.“
“SF PET HOSPITAL, is a very good place to have your pet looked after. Staff is friendly and services are priced to keep money in your pocket. The Veterinarians are informative and work with a budget.***** ExcellentStreet parking only one block off the Muni 5 line at Divisadero“
“This is my vet and they’ve been great for the last year!

My only complaint would be that they won’t give a vaccine without a physical, even if my cat has recently had a physical from them.“
“Can't say enough good things about Presidio Way and their team there - they've always listened patiently and have taken great care of our family's two yorkshire terriers. Even for a routine checkup we never feel rushed and we're given ample time to ask any questions that we have.

Additional bonus - we love that they can do teeth cleaning at the clinic as well. =)“
“Had an appointment snafu, but they accommodated us and checked my doggy out plus some tests and shots. Good bill of health and happy with the service.“
“When your dog is sick, you want a vet who cares and who answers the phone. Peninsula Ave. vet clinic has never failed us over the years. We have two dogs now, and both of them have gotten their shots and other needs here

Dr. Hall was so kind and helpful with our dog Lenny, and the tech who helped our furry boy was especially caring ❤️ thx so much to everyone there“
“NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS RIGHT NOW--Our elderly dog had congestive heart failure, and they gave her the help that she needed. Dr. Grossbard is an expert and compassionate doctor, and he was willing to work with us to reduce our bill when we were on a limited budget. Our dog's life was extended a little longer because of him.

When I wanted to bring our other dog to get care here, I found that they are not taking new patients. But this policy may change at some point, so I recommend that you bring your pets here if you have the opportunity.“
“I went in to get a check up for my dog before an upcoming flight. We saw Dr.Amanda and she was really kind. I didn’t feel rushed and I left with all my questions answered. I would definitely request to see her again if I return for another visit.

On the other hand the front desk lady I talked to was rude. She seems like she doesn’t enjoy her job, which can be off-putting in a stressful circumstance such as the vet.

Overall one of the better vet experiences I have had.“
“Great vet experience. They have phenomenal hours, especially if you work during the day. We’ve been twice since we got our new pup and they have been very caring, thorough, and kind.“
“My 8-year-old little guy has been with us since he was 3.5 years old. In his thrill to have a renewed life, he's had his ear bitten in half by a blackbird, when he ran into their pack. He had dog COVID, this year's rare virus reported by UCDavis, obstipation from eating lotsa sand (it tasted like fish), and spindle cell cancer, wherein his paw and leg has been reconstructed with dog cadavers. He's been cancer free for a year and a half. Dukito Ellington (named by his original Mexican family, has shown resilience, pure joy, and determination. I called SFAMC when I saw some sort of foreign "object" in his eye; like a narrow white "shoelace" running horizontally across his whole eye. From the initial call, the warmth and helpfulness was assured. The phone greeter was willing to give an estimate of the wait time...which was hardly any. Whereas, it's more familiar to hear the phone intake person to say "We cannot give even a broad estimate, as it's not our policy." When we arrived, we were welcomed and triaged to Katie, a conscientious, educational, empathic staff tech. She took a complete history, including medical and behavioral, emotional. It was impressive to watch her commitment to Dukito's whole health. It was clear this work is her passion. When Katie reappeared with Dukito post vet visit, she brought a wagging, energetic Dukito. That white "shoestring" lie on a piece of paper to show me. Dr. Ann MacFarlane was the interventionist, along with Katie. Removed was a long, bold fuzz strip from his new favorite toy. OMG, what a sense of relief I had! Then came a gesture of true humanity: Katie informed me that Dr. MacFarlane and she found Dukito to be a remarkable survivor with a sweet personality...and there would be no charge, as I didn't need to see the Doctor. I wanted to cry! Kindness like this shows like neon in today's world. I walked away benefiting from so much; the skill, education, comfort, caring, just to name a few of the "gifts". Five stars is hardly enough.“
“This vet clinic is amazing! While the parking does stink (it's SF, so that's kind of expected), the service we receive here far outweighs any difficulty in finding a spot. I will always recommend Ocean Ave Vet Hospital to all my doggie friends.“
“The Dr. was the best she made both me and my kitten Jack very comfortable. The staff was also awesome. It was an all-around pleasant experience, and I am looking forward to our next visit on the 12th. I definitely recommend it to all cat owners.“
“To the douchebag pos named "Donald McClintic" who just left this place a nasty review on 03/25/24 - I would like to chime in as I was a client who was there and witnessed the whole thing. First of all, this person left out a ton of information about the whole situation. He had never called ahead of time to see if his bird could get seen on an emergency. The owner told the receptionist he just "looked up the clinic" and decided to come (what an idiot). This place is by appointments only and you always need to call ahead of time. When he walked in the staff was all extremely busy with other appointments and emergencies. The receptionist was extremely kind and insisted that the bird needed to be in a cage, and then he would have to see if the doctor could attend to the bird. The owner then blew up at the receptionist and refused to wait. He told the receptionist it had to be now. The receptionist even offered to give the owner a list of other vets to call for emergencies while they waited on the doctor. The guy told the receptionist he doesn't have a cell phone and couldn't call other vets (again, a f&*king moron). Once one of the other vet assistants brought out a carrier for the bird and to check on the bird, the owner lost all his patience and began to just berate the receptionist saying "you should all be ashamed of yourselves for turning down a bleeding bird!" He scolded the staff and then just angrily walked out. So what's the story here? Well, idiots who don't know this facility and just decide to walk in will always be greeted with the same message that they need to have an appointment first. This guy could have waited and I bet the staff would have been able to help him but he was too impatient. Too bad for him. Bay Area Bird & Exotics Hospital is a wonderfull facility. They care about all clients and patients and will always do their best to help people. You just have to call them to see if they are able to help. It's a small staff with ONE DOCTOR. Be realistic people. Also, if you go to Donald's yelp page you'll see what kind of a douchebag he is. His only other Yelp review is about buying a firearm for his family. What a piece of work. - Mike Hunt.“
