“This is the best Jiu Jitsu class because they truly focus on teaching. I've tried other places where it's mostly about fun. I don't want to spend money, especially time, driving and waiting for my kid for a Jiu Jitsu class just for fun. But here, after just one free class, I didn't hesitate to sign up for a year. They really teach things even from the first class. I really like the coaches here, especially Mr. Albert. He is kind yet strict, maintaining full control to ensure that kids are not just playing around but learning properly. I appreciate the balance of discipline and kindness. “Been training here for about a year. They teach traditional Kodokan Judo which includes throws, sweeps and grappling (ne-waza). Senseis are friendly, patient and encouraging. 2 classes a week for both kids and adults. Great place to learn and build connections with other judokas.“

“Both my daughter and son have been attending RDKLV for a few months and all the Sensei's have been fantastic to work with. The dojo instills technique and discipline in all that they teach, from their beginner classes to their sparring classes. I enjoy the fact that they include white belts to black belts in their classes (not sparring against each other of course) which enables my kids to see what they can become with effort and discipline. The teachers are fantastic, easy to communicate with, and have a noticeable desire to teach their students.“

As well as some of the coaches there, so u know they really know what they're teaching. The black belt master closed the center and refused to refund. All star has no obligation to take their mass but the owner said we don't need to pay unitl our pervious contact with back belt taekwondo diamond bar expires. “Mr Chavies is the true essence of "the Master". It's been some years now since I was a student of his. Yet the lessons he taught me are ongoing. Many of the days training under the touch of a "Master's hand" were harder than anything else I have experienced, with a few times in tears. I understand now it is because I cared so much, for his attention and approval. I received much attention {lots of push-ups} and occasionally, approval. If I were training with Mr. Chavies now, I know I would care just as much trying as hard as I ever did. However, I would not receive as much attention or approval. Now I understand. That is " the touch of a Master's hand ". For which I will be eternally grateful. “I recommend taekwondo for kids with ADHD or ASD. My son is both. Because he needs individual attention team sports or activities don't work well for him. Parents and kids are mean and will bully him because he needs more time to learn. So martial arts let's him be in a group activity but compete at his own speed.He has been attending this center for a year. At first I was worried because it's a lot of yelling, and my son has a speech impediment. The yelling is not abuse. Let me be clear it's instruction, but my son, because of his ASD will sometimes misinterpret things. In our experience, it has been really great. My son has moved up belts. Yes, the exams are pretty regular and they do cost money but all sports cost money. TKD has taught my son discipline. It has taught him to control his behaviors and it is also set him up with setting goals. He went from a white belt is now a purple belt and he really wants to be a black belt. My daughters play club soccer and it's not cheap either. You pay for what you get. For our family this has been a great investment in our son to grow individually, athletically and mentally.
