“I normally don't review places I've done business with but in this case I just had to. Why? Because of my experience with D'Ambra as compared to my neighbor's down the street who went with a cheaper contractor and ended up with total chaos. My project took about 7 months to complete because it was very involved. Whenever I had an issue or question, Chris was available with a simple phone call. Always around even on weekends if needed. That was refreshing. The quality of work was amazing, but what stood out was when I came home one day, he was there making the carpenter (who hired these two new guys) take down the crown molding they just spent the entire day putting up because he - yes - HE - didn't like. When have you heard of that? I honestly wouldn't have even noticed probably, but hey, he's the expert. Something about since it was floating to accommodate the rope light behind it, it was done wrong.Now my project was quoted at $378k. Painting and flooring was not included. All in I was into the project about $410k. It was a large job. So my neighbor had them quote their house once they saw ours coming together and was floored at the quote. (They bought their house in the mid '70s for about $100k - hard to imagine spending double or more than that on just a remodel) So they went with someone who apparently quoted them about $50k less - supposedly for the 'same' thing. Honestly, it made me question what I was spending. But then about a month into theirs, they ran into me on a Sunday and opened up about their mess. EVERYTHING was an extra. Everything. 2 months in, they were already committed to over D'Ambra's bid proposal. The biggest problem they had was I think it was the same 3 guys were doing ALL the work. Plumbing, electrical, drywall and on and on. The quality is horrible. I can see it because I compare to my job. Of course I don't tell them that, but they know. It's really sad. The inspector told me he sees that stuff all day long everyday all around town and gave me the nod for hiring D'Ambra.I'm so glad I made this decision because I don't know what I'd do had we been stuck in that mess. My living room had an awkward wall running through it, which divided the room into two awkward spaces. He took that out and opened up my floor plan. He completed the job in a timely fashion and cleaned up after the job was completed. He gave me a great price quote and guaranteed that he would not ask for additional money which he did not. He went above and beyond what he promised and did additional work that was not part of the scope of the contract and did not charge any additional money. I would strongly recommend him for your home renovations. I am planning to do a kitchen remodel in 1 - 2 years and will use his services again.“

While he was not previously set up to do so, he made the effort to register his company with the DIR specifically to take on our project. “My family and I will always be grateful to the whole team at Oricon for giving us our dream kitchen remodel. The search for the right contractor was overwhelming and after interviewing at least a handful of contractors, my hubby and I narrowed it down to Oricon and another. It was a tough decision but what made us go with Oricon was the detailed questioning we received from Travis during his visit. He asked us about all sorts of details that the other guys did not. Plus it was just one of the intangible feelings. Anyhow, like all contractors and vendors during the pandemic, Oricon is backed up so we had to wait but it was well worth the wait. Some things we appreciated about the Oricon team: 1) great communication (whether it was phone, email, text or in person) was consistent. We asked a ton of questions and despite how busy they are, they always maintained constant communication with us. We received regular status updates on the work completed, work that was left to be done and of course the balance statements. We had a few issues that had to be resolved asap and we were impressed that Travis was on top of it with the options and his recommendation despite their many projects going on simultaneously. 2) workmanship- their expertise and professionalism were critical. Even though we didn't see the planning that went on behind the scenes, it was clearly evident that a substantial amount of planning went into the design and install. And like any project, not everything went as planned but we were never nervous since Steve, Travis and team always knew how to remedy the situation and were not satisfied unless we were happy with the end result. Oricon definitely stands behind their work and you definitely get what you pay for. We went from a dark, tiny corner kitchen that was not functional to the a bigger, brighter, and functional kitchen that we typically 'ooh and ahhh' at on pinterest (see photos) =). Many, MANY thanks to Travis, Steve, Briana, Victoria and the whole staff! we know who we're calling when it's time to fix the ugly bathroom :D.“

“My remodel went flawlessly. Alpha Regional remodeled my kitchen and installed a new front door in my home. Jose kept to his schedule and everything was done on time. His crew was outstanding. “I recently contracted the services of Envy Electric to solve why my stairway light suddenly didn't work. Peter was very methodical in his analysis and, after trying several things with his arsenal of testers, discovered that I wasn't pulling the full voltage at the switch boxes. Experience told him that a loose connection was the culprit - only question was where it was located. He then proceeded to trace the circuit and opened up all the switches and plugs, but found nothing. Determined to solve the mystery, he tried the only possibility left - a recently installed canned hallway light the was pretty well plastered into the entry ceiling! Patiently, he chipped and cut around the fixture until he was able to extract the housing with no real damage to the ceiling. There he found that whoever installed the fixture didn't even have the connections contained in a protective box and, lo and behold, there it was - the loose connection! Peter was able to install a box within the ceiling and reinstall the fixture without any damage to the ceiling - what a guy! Needless to say, all this time and effort was adding up, but well worth it. But, when it came time to settle for all this work, Peter wouldn't accept anything extra. I was certainly impressed by his work ethic and appreciate the fact that there are still craftsman like him around. Envy Electric has my full endorsement as a winner. Peter is one of the good guys!! - I'd hire him anytime and every time!“

We bought a new house and Israel was recommended to us by the previous homeowners, so we asked him to paint the interior of our house. Israel and his crew were able to come out within a week of asking, completed the job in one day, and were extremely professional and clean. We asked them to come back the next day to paint the interior of garage and stain our hand railings and it looks amazing! We plan to use them in the future for the exterior of our home.
