“Jubal and his brother Zach do fabulous work. I have found them to be uniquely skilled finish carpenters, who show up on time and finish projects on time. They bailed me out of a kitchen remodel in a 100 year old house that was botched by another carpenter and rebuilt a 100 year old stair railing that was very complicated. They are also very pleasant to work with and fair. They are also very versatile. Jubal and Zach are the very best finish carpenters in Chico.“
“Using John and his crew is everything one wishes working with a contractor would be but from other stories I hear that seems rare. We built directly after the Camp Fire (47th house completed) and during the entire process were never disappointed. Always there with suggestions and experienced advice, always on schedule and within the budget. Very professional and even had the ability to keep a smile on your face throughout the project. John built two houses for us, two houses for friends of ours and our neighbor's home, they all agree with this opinion. Gilmore construction is certainly at the top of their field and in reading their reviews I can see there are no negative ones!! People are quick to complain.... I think that says it all. Hire them and have this experience be enjoyable one instead of something you will look back on shaking your head.“
“Charlie just finished doing a new driveway for me. A VERY HONEST, Hard Working man, keeps his word, if he tells you hell be there at 9:00..HES There!!. I had nothing but frustration pulling bids, UNTIL I MET CHARILE. His bid was reasonable,(Not the cheapest, not the most expensive) but fair..His work looks great, his bid came in on budget, his time frame as promised, NOTHING BUT PRAISE!!. He has his own tractors, rollers etc, semi trucks etc..If you are thinking about a new driveway or paving, I highly recommend C.Brown Paving.
