“I've been seeing Dr Wong for probably over 20 years now, and even after relocating to SF, I make a yearly trip over the bridge to get my eyes checked. The whole team is friendly and helpful. Both Doug and Florinda are great at helping choose and recommend frames that are in your budget and fit your face and style preferences and even some that you might not expect to like. It's a great office, all the newest technology to evaluate the health of your eyes. You can't go wrong!“
“Have any of you been burned out from eyeglass stores like LensCrafters which charge too much for eyeglasses? As someone who used to go to LensCrafters per a previous company's vision coverage, I found Warby Parker to be a breeze by comparison. Not only are they significantly better than LensCrafters, they also know how to serve customers better. -The eye exam is cheap, even if your vision coverage doesn't cover it. -Eyeglass frames are affordable, even if your vision coverage doesn't cover it. You pay for the frames, that's it. That's the cost of your glasses unless you want addition options for your glasses. -Eye exam was quick and straight forward. -Customer service is super friendly and willing to help with any questions you have. -Warby Parker ships to your home with your eyeglasses in reasonable amount of time. In the past I got mine from eyeglass stores in a week. Warby Parker got me mine in a day less than how I'd normally get it. And if that's not enough, my eyeglasses came in perfect condition along with a great, secure case. Warby Parker really knows how to deliver with eyeglasses. I plan on sticking with them. Hope you too!“
“I've been going to Alan's business since middle school and it's like visiting a trusted family member every time. There's things people need to understand before walking into the store:- Alan has been a skilled optician for 50+ years- He's not going to steer you towards Gucci/Prada etc. but he will steer you to brands that are high quality, not 3D printed or dumped out in a factory in China and last for many years- He will give you a blunt and honest opinion of how it looks on you and if it fits your face well- You should call ahead and schedule an appointment because Alan does this out of love for his clients, not to make money- His work is not cheap, but stretched out over the life of the frames, it's worth it- He has to deal with downtown Berkeley crazies off the street coming in and causing trouble, so introduce yourself, be open to advice, and be patient.“
“Dr. Chun always does a very careful examination and listens to my descriptions of what I am seeing. He looks inside my eyeballs and explains clearly. I am very satisfied with his prescriptions.“
