Updating my review here. This salon is fantastic in its new location on Nanaimo, as Franco and Victoria are the main stylists and they could never go wrong. I followed from their original location on Beatty because it’s really hard to find a good hairstylist for my hair. Franco always cuts my frizzy thick hair in the best way possible. I trust this place and highly recommend it!

“Best haircut and colour I've ever gotten. Jennie does a fantastic job, super funny and professional at the same time, she gets so excited about her work and she's very detail oriented. She gave me a recommendation for the exact colour (green) and style and I love it so much, even took the extra time to layer and blend it so it looks even better!

The shop has a really fun vibe, it's a fantastic people watching spot and they're good at keeping any drama going on outside out of the shop. Price is comparable to other shops, but the service is way beyond anything else around. Cannot recommend enough.

My super-fine hair is kind of delicate and easily turns to straw, so I'd held off for years on straight-perming my chaos curls. Paul's reviews looked great with all kinds of hair types, so I took the plunge-- it turned out perfectly! I can finally skip the iron (and even the dryer) in the morning, yet it's just as strong and healthy as it was when I went in--and even a bit softer!

Paul's skilled, efficient, organised, and a clear communicator, making the experience reassuring and stress-free from beginning to end :)
