“John was called to help us train our 2 doxies to follow commands and sleep better in their crates. In 3 lessons plus daily practice (15 minutes or so per dog per day), our dogs sleep in their crates without whining or barking and follow basic commands well. He trains you to train the dogs. The next month will be about reinforcing what we have already taught them and then we'll move on to tricks and fun stuff. John's methods are easy, effective, and allow you to branch off and expand their abilities. We got our small children involved and they now love their pooches and playing with them. We highly recommend John and Balanced Pooches!“

“I meant to write this review a month ago when my lil gal completed her hybrid board and train, but I am so glad I waited because I have so many more wonderful things to say. I put my 14 week old doberman puppy in the program after speaking to Kristen extensively about the benefits. I was incredibly apprehensive, I mean trusting my pup to be out of my care for 3 nights a week pulled at my mama heart strings, but I trusted in the process and amazing things happened. My girl came home every week training with Jeremy with a growing sense of confidence. Her obedience improved weekly but the biggest benefit I still see today is the effect early socialization had on her overall temperament. She is just very balanced. After she completed board and train is where IBK9s commitment to their dogs REALLY impressed me. I was having trouble with leash pulling. The team was readily available to assess the problem offering solutions and guidance. Having ALL the trainers as a resource has made training/raising my puppy a totally different experience than in the past. I feel as though I have the support to do the best by my pup and have realized …it is actually ME that has needed the most training. I recommend IBK9 without an ounce of hesitation. “I took my Maltese puppy to Sara for her very first grooming. Sara was very patient working with her. Sara also taught me how to groom in btwn grooming visits. I was very pleased and will return.We also just attended our first basic obedience class this morning. We took my crazy happy Maltese puppy and my husband's anti social mini aussie. I was impressed with Sara and Crystal. We all learned a lot. I highly recommend their training!“
“I would highly Recommend Civil Guard K9! When I got my Rottweiler puppy I knew training was going to be essential to raising the obedient well mannered dog I wanted. While I was doing my research on trainers 2 different people recommended Scott to me from their positive experience with him. We started having a problem with our other dog (20lb Rat terrier) picking on the puppy as soon as we brought him home. I contacted Scott and he responded immediately explaining to me what was going on, how it would turn out if nothing was done, and how we could correct the situation. He came over the next day and did an in home consultation. He assessed the whole situation and laid out a plan for us. He was able to show us exactly what he can do with YOUR dog. He will tell you what he is going to do and what will happen before he does it, and that is exactly what happens!Scott has a great personality and is very easy to work with, he is always available for a txt or a call to help you if you have any questions from the previous lesson or if a new issue pops up. When you watch Scott interact with his own 3 dogs you immediately realize he knows what he is doing and understands how a dog thinks and how to communicate with them. “We’re in Mesa for the winter (from Nebraska), our 2 year old Shih Tzu has allergies and was miserable, scratching his skin raw, after close review of Veterinary options we chose Tri City East Veterinary Hospital, I called and the receptionist could not have been more helpful and set up an appointment for early afternoon. My husband took JJ in and was very impressed with the care that was provided in a very timely manner giving JJ much needed relief…..We will not hesitate to return if needed in the future and with his allergies we’re so greatful to find such a Caring Vet and staff!“

“Gizmo suffered injuries due to a dog attack and the staff was very kind and made me feel like gizmo was in good hands. They are knowledgeable in rabbits and that can be hard to find! I trust them with my Gizmo. Tranquility Trails rabbit sanctuary recommended me to Arizona exotic and I have not been disappointed the times I’ve been to the Mesa and phx location. Gizmo is still in good spirits and on play pen rest while he heals up. To the reviews complaining about price - they tell you upfront the cost and will go over it with you and never make you feel uncomfortable and will help try to lower it if need be. And of course it may cost a little more because they are specialized in exotic animals which requires more training and knowledge especially given that many times these exotic animals don’t have as much medical technology and research as dogs/cats.“
