“Let me tell ya! First of all, I gotta mention I have not baught anything from United Floors.... Yet!So I'm doing Renos like a good old DIY dad that I am. Got a teenager that didn't mention ice built up on her window all winter, that was melting and growing mold down the wall and into the carpet...So! Watched a couple of YouTube videos and called a friend with some experience and off we started! Anyways... 3 weekends later... Carpet is down and drywall is up. But I need a tool called a Carpet seam roller. Basically...a 50 dollar brush that hides the seam from one part of the carpet to the other... No hardware store keeps one on hand so I start calling floor places. The first one was the worst. "what?? No sir! We don't carry tools! We do carpets!" she snarkily said on the phone. Second place was more polite but didn't have one to sell me. And the I Called United Floors. And guess what. I get Shawn/Sean (Sorry I don't know how to spell his name) on the phone. And I was not expecting to hear the words that came out of his mouth: " oh I know what you're looking for! But if you're only doing one patch, that's an expensive tool to buy just for that. Come over and Il let you borrow mine, as long as you give it back"..... He doesn't know me, we never spoken before. And he just decided to lend me his tool because it'll be a waste of my money to go get one. Furthermore, I get there on a Friday, an hour before closing time asking if they're open tomorrow because I live half an hour away and might not make it back with the tool that day! He says "no but don't worry about, bring it back Monday!". What a guy!So any flooring needs. I know where I'll be going from now on.“
