Look, I never write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this one.Picking the right company to do a great job on your floors can be daunting to say the least. For our flooring project we had several companies come to look at our floors, all of them giving estimates for the job. As you know, for the very fact that I’m writing this review, we picked Schreffler Custom Flooring to do the job.Schreffler was not the cheapest or the company that could get in the soonest to do the work, but they were the company who explained everything in detail that was needed to do the job correctly. We were tired of our 20+ year old carpeting in our tri-level and decided to replace all of it with wood flooring and have the existing wood flooring on the main level refinished. To start with, we solicited bids from 3 different places, because the lower level is on a concrete slab two of the companies only wanted to install the artificial products on that level, even when we kept insisting we wanted wood. Schreffler's salesman Jon (who is now the owner) came to the house to give us an estimate and we explained our desire for real wood for the lower level. Now that our floors are finished, it’s easy to see why Schreffler’s has earned all 5’s on their reviews. We had an outstanding experience with them. They were the consummate professionals: excellent craftsmanship, paid attention to detail, very responsive, strong communication, and just great to work with overall.
