I've been getting my haircut at the Hilldale Barber Shop for a couple of years now & honestly, this place is an absolute a gem and here y'all are, fussing about some wallpaper and smells because you're crabby.Every time I walk in (which is great, appointments can be annoying), I'm greeted promptly and welcomed to take a seat for my turn. The "outdated facilities that smells and runs like it’s from the 60s" feels warm & nostalgic, reminding me of my grandma's house. That "smell from the 60s" is what a clean barbershop smells like- barbicide and anti-bacterials doing their job 24/7. Brought my toddler here for her first haircut. The stylist did a great job. So patient and accommodating of a jittery toddler. Not to mention the nice cut! Great customer service. We'll be back! Cash or check only

Great haircuts - I've been a regular for over 10 years now - only every had one "eh, it'll grow back" haircut.Pam and Ken get it right every time.Prices are good at $20ish for a full haircut.First come first serve but the lines are short and haircuts take about 20min.
