“Finally someone who sees my challenges with my hair, and why trendy celebrity hairstyles never work for someone who wasn’t born with thick, backward growing hair. (My thin, forward growing, with swirls (cowlicks riddled)on temples are not conducive to ANY style whatsoever!!!!), I have literally gotten to the point that hats and scarves are my best friend. Lynnle not only listens, but asks questions and is perceptive enough to understand her clients feelings and goals. I all but had given up, and seriously considered wigs, or at least resigned myself to ugly hair.To have someone truly “see” you is both emotional and empowering. “I went to Midwest Beauty House for the first time last night to get my hair cut by Thomas. I had a great experience. Thomas offered me tea, helped me get comfortable, and asked me about my hair, what I’d like to do with it, and told me about their approach to hair. Thomas did a great job following my preferences for the cut, and I learned so much from them about basic hair styling/care (plus food suggestions as a new Madisonian)! I will happily go back to Midwest Beauty House.“
