“Have been going to WV for over 25 years with good results, however, my most recent visit to WV was the best experience ever. Went in for new frames and lenses after cataract surgery. I was helped by Radar and she was so helpful and knowledgable. She checked various ways to get the best price and listened to what I said about being light sensitive and suggested a tint for me. She also helped pick frames out for me-never has this happened before! Radar is the best. We need more Radar’s in this world. “I am so very grateful to have found this place. Dr. Kim is an absolute gem and angel - she is so intelligent, knowledgeable, and skilled. Also probably the kindest doctor I have ever known. She quickly figured out what my vision problem was, created a treatment plan, and I started therapy with Brian, a wonderful and very skilled therapist. Dr. Kim also helped me get a special kind of glasses that might have accelerated my improvement.

Vision therapy is not cheap, but SO worth it. The exercises seem simple, but make big changes. I was astonished by the difference in my handwriting after only one week. Gradually I had less and less pain and tiredness in my face and eyes and my vision steadily improved. I can even read print books again, which I love so much! My balance improved too.

The entire experience at this center has been excellent. I'm finding the whole subject of vision (rather than visual acuity) to be so fascinating and Dr. Kim and Brian have taught me a lot about it. I think it's such a shame that vision therapy is not well known, as so many people don't know that they have vision problems and that their lives could be improved so much. I feel sad to think of all the children who's behavior and learning problems are seen as their fault or psychological/learning disability problems, when the problem is really their vision. Their futures could be so different. I can't imagine being a student with the struggles I have had with my eyes. Terrible.
