My young cat was mysteriously ill. Fever, not eating or drinking. They were able to get me in the same day I called after being turned down at 5 other places. The blood work that came back shed no light on what was wrong. It was the day before Christmas Eve so we just gave her fluids, injection of 10 day antibiotics, an injection of antiinflammatories and two pills to get through the holidays. Christmas day evening she snapped out of it and has been improving ever since. The rest of her blood work came back good and still no idea what was wrong. I wish she could talk. The Dr was very nice and knowledgeable. The staff was very nice.
I've been taking my cat here for years and have always had a pleasant experience. The staff is so kind, patient, and low pressure. I tried taking him somewhere else when we moved but had a poor experience, so I started going back to Fitchburg Vet because it is worth every extra mile.
This place is amazing. They take their time with you and your pet. They don’t rush you through and make you feel like you’re on a conveyor belt. I would highly recommend them to anybody with a pet. I myself have Parrots and it’s stuff difficult to find a good vet for them. I feel very comfortable there.
