“Phenix Salon is a nice building. Inside entrance is nice & welcoming. Love the water feature on the wall when you first walk in. The place offers people to open their own salons within the building which is great. So they have many different businesses inside that all are salons, barbers, massage, eyebrow & maybe facials 2. I have been getting my hair done @ My Studio inside Phenix for several years & have been following Dale for 30+ years. Unfortunately he is leaving the Phenix building this month & moving My Studio to Monona Dr. but I highly recommend checking out some of the other businesses inside Phenix Salon Suites. I have not personally tryed any of them but they seem to be good businesses. Otherwise look up My Studio on Monona Dr. for a great hair salon.“

“I always walk out of that salon feeling like a new woman! Gail is thorough and knowledgeable. My hair is thin & fine; but you would never guess that because the cut makes it look thicker. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Makes me willing to drive 90 miles for an appointment!“

“I thought I needed a lot of hair cut off to get rid of the damage, but Jen cut it dry so she could see the damage, and she didn’t need to cut off nearly as much as I thought she would. She then washed it and gave me a wonderful head massage, then she dried it with some nice product in it. It looked amazing and felt great! Worth driving from the East side of Madison. A bonus is that Jen has a sweet big dog, and if you want to pet him, he can hang out with you. But if you’re not interested in hanging out with him, he has a nice place to hang out off to the side. For me, I love hanging out with him, I love dogs! I will definitely go back!

Hair type: Frizzy curly hair that I am trying to grow longer. Jen understands my hair.
