My recent experience with this long-time island company was an excellent one. They arrived each day exactly when they said they would. Their carpet offerings can suit nearly every budget and I appreciated their flexibility (and guidance) when I made a change to the initial order. They did a thorough job cleaning up after installation.
Baron Construction did a great job on our home remodel on the Eastside. We had a fairly complex project, given that we were updating a mid century modern home and we wanted to ensure that we kept the house true to its original design and detailing. We had a lot of custom details to work through, but Trace and his crew did a great job and we came in on time and on budget.
Jake and his crew are amazing. They show up and get the work done! They did beautiful pasture fencing for us plus a perimeter fence to keep our dogs in.They cleared many blackberries and scotch broom bushed and then took them off our property.They were always on time and just did amazing craftsmanship with incredible attention to detail! They were able to clean up my driveway that had seen much better days, figuring out a draining problem for me and clean out some curtain drains.Lastly, my boys were sad about us moving to Vashon and Jake and his crew were able to put in an amazing pump track for my boys! They are so excited about their new house now and that’s a big thanks to Jake and his crew.I would recommend them to anyone, they are fantastic and they worked with me on my budget!
In 2006 I began the journey of learning how to massage Large Animals. I found Northwest School of Animal Massage. The home study course was fantastic, I could do it at my own pace and the 5 day intensive review and Practical test was so worth it. I continued on to take several more courses over the next 10 years. I am now certified in Large and Small Animal Massage. And I am approaching 69 years of age. So it's never too late.
Randy Bruce and Wipe Out Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners did a fantastic job cleaning and repairing our Berber carpets throughout our home and two velvet side chairs in our living room.

The Hive team is truly one of a kind. I hosted my first cake decorating class at the hive and my experience with them was amazing. They are extremely sweet, professional and helpful. The space was really beautiful, open and can be customized to fit any event. I was unsure on how to set everything up so I trusted their expertise and years of experience. They set everything up perfectly for my event and really helped to make my vision come alive. Thanks to them my event was a success and I can’t wait to host more events at The Hive.
Aaron at Sea Change did my first (then 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th) tattoo and I can't imagine a better first-time experience! He was patient and listened to all my thoughts and answered all my questions. I was surprised by how pain-free it was. Aaron has been one of my favorite artists (in all mediums) for a long time, so it is such an honor to have several of his unique pieces on my arm (he has also done a ton of custom work to turn the pieces into a full sleeve)! Casey and Aaron are both total sweethearts and you can't go wrong getting a tattoo from either of them.
I did the Delight in Your Life program with Kael in 2021 and am still reaping the benefits of that I learned and how I started taking care of myself. I call her my angel because she was a much needed healing and guiding presence that allowed me to feel and take care of myself in a very trying time in my life when I was working 60-70 hours a week and suffering from adrenal fatigue. I highly recommend this program and anything Kael does! Everyone needs a Kael in their life!! ❤️

Candy gives the most luxurious, relaxing facials! She was gentle and spent time with me before my session to ask about my personal skincare needs. Not only was my face pampered, she spent the better part of an hour massaging my arms, hands, legs, feet, shoulders and neck. It was beyond heavenly! I will definitely be going back and telling all of my friends

This is a good place for milder adjustments as opposed to the bone cracking type most are used to. He has helped me over many years and kept me in good shape. The biggest challenge is working with the hours of operation but you get used to it
Salana is fabulous. She does a great job, she's fun to talk to, and she's on time. I have short, straight, fine hair with multiple cow-licks, which I have to imagine is some of the most challenging since it is unforgiving, and she gets it done!
Full Circle offers a wide range of natural holistic modalities of treatment for "what ails ya". I have noticed a small sign they place out front on Tuesday for Acupuncture. I had never tried it and had been meaning to do so for months. I was pleasantly surprised it didn't hurt and it felt good to relax in the treatment room.It looks like a normal cottage from the road, but there is a huge wheelchair ramp. Very causal atmosphere, sign yourself in, go to a treatment room, wait for Dennis. There are about fifteen practitioners that share the space massage therapists, to mental health therapists.I had the feeling that they are more of a mission to help others than a business to help themselves. Very impressed and will be back next Tuesday.
We had a wonderful experience taking our daughter for a special ride for her 4th birthday. Cece was amazing and patient with her and she had the best time. We would love to return.

Jan Neutz (VMI) is a competent, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable person who quickly understood exactly what I was looking for in a prospective tenant. She composed an excellent, detailed ad for my rental and knew how to price it fairly. Two different, but excellent possible renters for me to choose from responded in record time. She crafted a comprehensive rental agreement for the renter, helped me avoid several mistakes I would have made without her advice, and the entire project was smooth and worry-free. I’ve been coming to the Vashon Athletic Club since the 90’s. And although I currently don’t live on Vashon, every time I come back for a visit there is something else that has been upgraded in the club. The facilities are very versatile and no matter what type of workout you’re looking for, the VAC probably has the space and equipment for you. The indoor pool area (with hot tub and cold plunge), surrounded by trees, is serene. Nick and Sarah are amazing owners and I’m grateful for everything they’ve done with the club!!
