“My family of three has been going to Rene for just over five years now, and she is the only one we trust with our skin and brows. I'm mixed-race (Portuguese & Bantu), and I've struggled with my skin since I was a teen (20~ yrs. ago). I went to tons of dermatologists who had me try medication after medication, skin treatments that weren't for my skin tone or what I wanted to focus on, and who ignored my concerns. I randomly tried Rene and Peach Willow after being frustrated with yet another dermatologist who told me to simply try CeraVe for my skin splitting and pigmentation (CeraVe is incredible, but I already use it, and it wasn't helping). I'm so happy I gave her a try.

Rene has been like an extension of our family. All three of us are far away from our families, but Rene is our family here. She takes you in, takes the time to learn everything about your skin needs and wants, and also gets to know you. That said, she'll respect your wishes if you just want a quiet service or aren't the chatty type. Just let her know you want a relaxing, quiet time, and you can melt into your appointment in silence. This might not be important to everyone, but she's also extremely LGBTQ+ friendly and has supported our little family since the moment she met us.

Besides Rene being an incredible human with a beautiful warmth and personality, she knows what she's doing. All you need to do is look at her gorgeous skin to know she takes skin health very seriously. She will also hook you up with some amazing, sharp brows that will make you feel so good. My absolute favorite services are the Microderm Facial (I've never seen my skin so smooth and soft before) and the Sojourn Facial. I'm saving up to treat myself to those soon. I hope everyone gives Rene a try because she will take care of you and your skin.“

“This salon is amazing! Everyone is super helpful and friendly. I see Gimena for my lashes and brows, and Cris for my hair. Gimena is insanely talented. She knows the best lashes for your eye shape and makes them look so natural. Prior to seeing her, I had a lash tech who overdid my volume and took a generous amount of time. Gimena gets things done in a timely manner and always makes me look gorg! So easy to book with her and we always have the best time at appointments. Cris does my haircuts and highlights and she is such a pro. She is so knowledgeable and helpful everytime I come for my appointment. I have insanely thin hair and have damaged it due to bleaching for years with poor care. She has helped me nurse my hair back to health and made it look better than ever! She knows exactly what my hair needs and what products I should be using at home. We just recently cut my hair shorter and it's the best decision I ever made. So many compliments!!! I live in Portland and commute because I love this place so much. It's truly the best!!!“
