The estimator, Alex Salazar, did a phenomenal job at building our confidence in the ability of Valentine Roofing to get the job done correctly. His attention to detail, ability to get into our crawl space to assess overall project requirements, with videos and images, was above and beyond. Options were provided for the entire roof and also the area of concern as well. We scheduled the entire roof replacement, Materials were delivered shorty after, and the entire roof was replaced within 3 days. Jose Palma, lead on the roof replacement, kept us well informed on the progress daily with photos. I appreciated his strong work ethic, communication, and ability to keep the job site well maintained.

“Our initial meeting to talk about our project was informative and had no high pressure tactics, it seemed more like a discussion with a family friend. The new windows arrived promptly and Signature was able to schedule our installation a little sooner than we expected. We never needed to worry about when the job was going to get done. The installers were amazing. They corrected some inadequacies of the previous windows' installation, the new windows are properly sealed to the house. The siding and window casings that needed to be cut for the new windows are perfect, they are skilled craftsmen that are very good at what they do. The calking applied after the windows were installed looks like it was machine done at the factory. They were very careful to contain the dust to the work area and cleaned thoroughly when they were done, there was no mess remaining and the only indication that they had ever been here was our beautiful new windows. This was the best contractor experience we have had, absolutely would recommend and use them again.“

Matt replaced two ceiling fans, built shelves in a storage unit, and fixed damaged woodwork. “I contracted Sound Siding to replace old, degraded LP siding with hardie plank on my chimney and ended up having them redo the siding on the south facing side of my home where I'd had some previous water damage as well. Their original chimney quote was competitive and they took care to ensure details such as the flashing and a new drip edge were properly installed. When requested to expand the job they worked with me on timing and costs to come to an agreement. The attention to detail in splash guards, quality paint for the weather and a long history of dealing with Western Washington weather patterns was outstanding. The onsite crew were professional, hard working and pleasant - always willing to discuss what they were working on and show me the progress. I will use them again when it's time to reside the rest of the house.“

“Synapse did the siding and window installation on a three townhouse building back in 2019. I was very pleased with the service at the time, but even more impressed when I noticed that the hardi trim was bowing out. I hired a carpenter to repair one of them and he pointed out that the fasteners that were used were not the ones recommended. I called Synapse and they came to take a look and clarified that the fasteners that were used were the ones recommended in 2019, but the manufacturer had since changed the spec to require a fastener/screw with a head on it. While Synapse did not have any obligation to come and put additional fasteners with heads on, they did so without charge. I see this kind of response as what true professional companies do and I would recommend Synapse to anyone. I would have recommended them before this problem, but their response to the problem makes them a 10 star company in my experience.“

Gary came over, and explained the process, gave me homework on the design, and we were able to work together swimmingly. I even had a family visit while his team worked on the plumbing. I asked him for help installing a garbage disposal, and he mentioned it would be easy to put in a fullsize dishwasher as well. Oleg got in touch pretty quickly after I submitted an inquiry, set up time for a consultation/ to measure, and then when I decided to move forward, he placed an order. The windows arrived very quickly and he sent someone from his team to install them the same day. The replacements look great and we are happy with the quality and price of service. Would recommend if you are looking for glass replacements.“

“I'm a general contractor. Jeld-Wen are among the very most affordable windows available. For all of you 1 star commentators, you get what you pay for in construction, but I will say, in 25 years, even though they are inexpensive, I've never ever had ANY issues with this company. Your one anecdotal experience.....to my 100's of experiences. Be kind and at least give em 2 stars if it was all so horrifying...lol“
