I've really been quite happy here at Kaiser Permanente, I came over with my Family Doctor, Dr William Phiiips who is one of the most Amazing, kind and listens to you and , actually hears what you might need , if he doesn't know he will try and do what he can!! It's been extremely difficult since the pandemic, it's been difficult, to get in, the staff are stressed out and tend to be short tempered, which , never they never have been before, and at times I feel when I call totalk to a nurse or whatever, they seem irritated with me, which really makes me feel bad! I dislike calling there because you don't get straight through, you go through, their main branch somewhere in Seattle, or something like that, then you get hassled about what you want what you need and on and on, then when you get through to the Ligerwood Branch, depending on who picks up the phone, well, it's just hard to call, I understand, that they are under major stress, but try being sick and in pain and going through all of this, because , so many of us have been neglected, because of the pandemic it's just , a shame!! But all in all when things are " Normal" Kaiser at "Ligerwood, was one of the kindest, caring, and helpful, Clinic , I'd ever been treated in!, and Dr Philiips, well he's " The Best" and I've seen other Drs and PA's there to when he hasn't been available, and they have also been Wonderful!! So all in all it's a good place, I think the Pandemic just really stressed Everyone out!! Of course it would, they are the ones being around the sick , they have family's, that would stress me out ! Their nurses are excellent too, there's one that goes the ex mile for me and others, sometimes I think she might know more than the Doctors" Jennifer Bergstrom ," she's Amazing, she one of the best!! So you have my Two cents, (actually it looks like a little more)

My experience here was absolutely incredible. I had an appointment with Dr. Walter Balek and he was so incredibly kind. He is the first doctor I've ever had that made me feel cared for, fought for, and truly understood in the battles I've been facing with my health. He took so much time to ask me good questions, to hear what I was dealing with, and to show me empathy/compassion. When I think of what an exceptional doctor should be, Walter will always come to my mind. There needs to be more doctors like him!
