I was having bad experiences with the normal doctor/insurance system so tried DPC. It has been the best thing I’ve ever done for my healthcare. Specifically, after being a member for a few months I got a severe respiratory illness that required multiple trips to the doctor with multiple medications over a month. I’ve never felt better cared for as a patient, with my doctor being completely accessible and actually invested in my getting better instead of rushing out the door. We communicated almost every day in their chat portal and just in office visits alone I saved money despite the monthly fee. No messing with insurance.
