“I have been bringing my dogs to Bark N Style since it opened and am a big fan. I currently have a Gordon Setter and it speaks volumes that he enters the salon willingly and warmly greets his groomer. I appreciate the willingness of each groomer to check what kind of cut I want and what additional services and I am always pleased with the final results. In addition, I bring my dog in for nail trims and I appreciate the convenience of their walk in option.“

“We love Stephannie’s! Very kind and professional but you can tell animals are in good hands. It’s reasonably priced and the appointments can be in high demand. Finding a good groomer can be a challenge but this place is top notch! The employees are lovely too. Enjoy your experience, your pups will!!!“

“My name is Allison and I have been a Camp Canine employee since June of 2018. I am posting this in response to reviews made by former employees in hopes to shed light and show people that there are in fact two sides to every situation.I am the longest standing employee at Camp Canine with 6 years of employment and as such have worked under every combination of management and owners. Including; Dr. Sue (former owner), Anne-Lise (former manager), Brenda, Jessa, and Heather (current owner and manager).Under Dr. Sues ownership, she never even knew our names or who we were. The facility never saw any needed renovations or improvements, and didn’t even have a break room for employees. Let alone she didn’t know any of the dogs. I would not call that a well oiled ship. When Heather took over the company, we immediately saw renovations get done (new turf, new bark, new paint, a real break room for staff, cleaning and decluttering, updated cleaning protocols, etc). Not only has she improved the facility, but she has also invested in her employees by paying for positive reinforcement based dog training classes and Canine CPR/First Aid classes as well, so we can all be on the same page and have knowledge about how to properly care for your dogs.As for the group of employees who were either fired, or left - I have never been made to feel more uncomfortable at a place of work in my life. They were incredibly petty, and made work very tense. If they didn’t like you for whatever reason they came up with, you were either shunned or they talked about you behind your back. I never witnessed Heather be unfair to these individuals, however she did hold them accountable for their poor attitude, actions, and call outs. Which, after not having a structured managerial team while the company was being sold, came as a shock to them.Camp has become a much more enjoyable place to work since they have left, including staff holiday parties since we all get along well now. The environment is back to being a positive atmosphere, and it’s clear that the dogs feel that positive shift in energy as well :)As far as the naps go - yes, our facility does use kennels to give naps to dogs. However, it is not because a dog is “difficult”. Naps are utilized for a lot of different reasons. We give naps for lunches, breaks (if they display poor behavior that jeapordizes the safety of the group of dogs) , if a dog is experiencing extreme signs of anxiety, or is experiencing unusual medical symptoms like coughing, vomiting, limping, etc.Our dog play yards are cleaned thoroughly every day with industry standard, pet safe chemicals. And our nap kennels and boarding area is cleaned between each and every dog.The removal of the live cameras throughout the facility was due to some of the customers being creepy, not to hide anything. I would never work for a business that was unethical in the treatment of animals.“

“I brought my 7 year old (mildly anxious) Aussie here for his first ever wash/cut and all my expectations were exceeded. Faye executed exactly what I asked for and I couldn’t believe how good he looked, felt, and smelt when I picked him up. Pricing also felt extremely reasonable for what we got. She gave me an estimate of 3 hours and was right on the nose! Highly, highly recommend Faye and am very pleased with our first experience at Posh Paws!“

“This team has gone out of their way to find a spot to groom our dog Bento. The communication is excellent, and our groomer Eli was patient, gentle, and kind with our girl, they sent photos throughout the groom, and did a great job! They were very patient with the needs of Bento for her spa visit. We are so happy with this grooming team, so is Bento!“

“I’m new to the area so I did a lot of looking around before choosing The Dog Stop. I’ve gone twice now, and I’ve already booked a third visit. As a picky fur-parent, these are the most important details of my experience, so far. The staff has been friendly and knowledgeable. The building seems clean and well kept up with no obvious urine smell or dirty floors. Each time, the dogs came home happy and behaving normally. I boarded my dogs for several days so I was glad to get a chance to see them play on the cameras. My oldest dog requires multiple doses of medication and has to have a lot of quiet time. They obviously paid attention to his needs, he seems well rested and content. The only negative I can see is that price. The cost was a bit higher than I would normally pay. Finding a place I feel comfortable boarding my dogs isn’t easy. So far, it’s definitely worth the price knowing they’re getting really good care.“

“My dog Phoebe and I have been to one other doggie daycare and this one far outshines the other. I can tell that all of the staff I’ve interacted with really love what they’re doing and are educated in positive reinforcement training and understand dogs. There’s an app they have where you can see what the dogs are doing with their cameras, it worked well for me once and then was glitchy but I don’t check on her anymore because I know they’re taking good care of her and she has plenty of space. Every time I pick her up they give me the rundown which is better than a couple glimpses at her throughout the day anyway. My dog is super high energy and still learning at 1.5 years old since she’s a large breed that matures slowly, so they charge extra for enrichment (which means they’ll keep a closer eye on her and implement a little training, and update you on it at the end of the day) since she needs extra attention. I’m happy to pay for it because she always comes home happy and tired, and they always have nice things to say about her!The driveway takes a little getting used to, but it’s not so bad.“

“Indu was amazing with my cranky chihuahua. After cutting and filing his nails to perfection he managed to thank her by biting her finger. I felt horrible but Indu was so gracious about it (thank you Indu for your understanding) I highly recommend Pampered Paws!“

“The staff here is friendly and genuinely cares about pets. I've had my dog's nails clipped here, and we've also utilized the self-serve dog wash station. It's incredibly convenient to have this facility just a couple of miles from home. While the prices are slightly higher compared to what I'm accustomed to from where I used to live, it's worth it to avoid having dog hair clog our drains.“

“I have waited on leaving this review. My beloved kitty cat, churro, came to Alex as a new client a few weeks ago.I was not at the appointment to drop her off, but I was told the transfer between the groomer and churro was quite a pleasant process for everyone. Once churro had her nails clipped she was ready to be left for the procedure which was a teddy bear cut.Churro had a few mats when she visited, and also was having issues with the fur around he butt since it was so long.Churro didn't seem very stressed when she arrived home, but it does get some taking used to- churro is very active and she was used to having her fur as some sort of pillow layer of protection when she played- a few days after she got used to her haircut she learned a whole new style of playing , she is spending less time on grooming actually and more time in cuddling. I can tell she feels really great with her new haircut, and the vet gave her a compliment on her haircut about a week and a half after she visited.I have contemplated this review since she got home, but I haven't left it yet because I wanted to see her behavior with the haircut and I can say it's worth the 6am appointment ... he even gave her a goodie bag filled with a bunch of toys, one of which she has deemed as favorite and uses it frequently to play fetch. On top of that, he made her backpack carrier a nice looking label and lined it with a soft pee pad.Thank you so much alex- the care and expertise you put into your craft really shows and I'm glad churro got to go see you. Til next time !“

“Our dog is somewhat reluctant about going to the groomer, but the owner of Puppy Love somehow has a way of putting him at ease. He comes home, happy, clean, soft, shaved, trimmed and smelling oh so clean. We appreciate their attention to detail and understanding of our special needs dog. Highest recommendation for these folks.“

“My dog, Abby, had the pleasure of experiencing an exceptional grooming session with Austin from the Woof Wagon, and I cannot express my gratitude enough for his outstanding service and genuine care for my dog. From the moment Austin arrived, it was evident that he had a deep passion for his work and a genuine love for dogs. He greeted my furry friend with warmth and ensured her comfort throughout the entire grooming process. Before grooming, he took the time to listen to my preferences and concerns, ensuring that every aspect met my expectations. The mobile grooming setup was convenient and efficient, and Austin's grooming skills brought out the best in Abby's appearance, leaving her looking absolutely adorable and well-groomed (see before and after pics). It was evident that Austin took great pride in his work and genuinely cared about the well-being of my furry companion.I am beyond grateful for Austin's exceptional service and the care he showed towards Abby. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone seeking a grooming experience that goes above and beyond. The Woof Wagon will undoubtedly be our go-to mobile grooming service from now on. We can't wait for our next appointment!“

“Chili had the best experience getting his first ever professional grooming with Lauren! He was very nervous, but Lauren was so patient and kind, he absolutely loved all the attention he got and came home happy and smelling so good! I would highly recommend booking with Lauren if you have a puppy and want to get them used to the grooming routine.“

“Great idea for a pet wash. Fully automated, meaning no human interaction. Only four stars because it wasn't the cleanest facility and the towels were a little rough, but for $20 for 17 minutes, it was plenty of time, and a great way to give your pup a quick wash. Also had a thoughtful lost and found bucket.“

“Can't thank these folks enough! My dog needed an emergency bath and had an hour before a vet appointment. They were able to slip him in and got him washed, dried (and even did his nails) in 20 minutes. Thank you for the kind & caring service!“

“Petite Paws has always taken care of our baby boy, Theodore. They are a small dog only facility and will not perform a full groom on a puppy which is PHENOMENAL. They recognize poor grooming acclimation can make a dog have significantly negative reactions to the grooming experience and so they won't do it. For puppies they do a Tidy Trim where it's a baseline grooming experience. They will clean up your dogs hygienic areas, eyes, back end, etc, do a nail trim, a bath, brushing, and then they'll run clippers over them without turning the clippers on to acclimate them to the full groom experience. If they are stressed during this they'll have you bring them back for an additional tidy trim before they'll do a full groom. Our dog Theodore has been going to them from his first groom until now and he does very well! They're so great and take such good care with him. As a yorkie he requires a ton of grooming maintenance between visits. I started with positive reinforcement during brushing very early and their great care of him during full grooms has made it so easy to trim his eyes and brush his face and body between grooming a with zero issue. He always comes out looking amazing and they're so personable. Lily usually grooms him but occasionally we have to move his appointment to someone else due to schedule conflicts and Candace is amazing and the new person they have who does Saturday is also great. He is always happy to see us but never stressed from his time there. He will never go anywhere else and we love this place!“
