My kid enjoyed this place. They play Coco melon songs and the kid is glued to the seat. The hair cut was super quick.The machine they use does not necessarily have clean heads/blades. You have to tell them to clean it. For kids they should be careful.

Rachel did a great job and was friendly. She offered to layer my 2 year-old daughter’s hair, which was a bit more “advanced” a cut than I was expecting, and I was very happy with her work. However, I will not be returning. We had paid about $26 for haircuts at Sharkey’s in Austin, whereas each of my kids’ (both children are under 5 years old; the two year-old’s hair is extremely fine) each child’s haircut cost over $40 here. That does not include a hair wash. Both kids’ hair was cut and we were out the door in 45 minutes, more than $80 (not including tip) lighter. We loved my little one's haircut at the Sharkeys! They have various seating options to fancy young kids like blue, red, green cars. Also have Netflix/YouTube screens with cocomelon and various other things to keep them distracted if needed.Also, our hairstylist was amazing! She was flexible in letting my toddler sit on my lap while she cuts her hair. She also gave us a pink balloon my daughter got highly excited about!!Loved the overall experience with before and after pictures and a hair clipping!Loved it, would highly recommend! I forgot to add- she charged us a little less for a first haircut as there wasn't a lot of hair needed to be cut and she suggested this herself....read full review
