“I was referred to Ravenna Pets and I highly recommend it! Patty was wonderfully kind and patient with my senior dog Roco during his last few years of life, and has excellent communications. Your pets will be in good hands with her!“
“Holly owns this incredible gem. I almost don't want to give it the 5-star rave I feel compelled to because I don't want them to get more packed than they already are. She and her staff pay close attention to the dogs; they are genuinely invested in this space and what it offers for our four-legged babies. When I brought up one of my dogs' trepidation and unwillingness to enter the facility, Holly immediately showed concern and acted. Apparently, he had been spooked by the construction noise that had occurred the day before and thus was being reticent the morning after. Additionally, the pups all were fearful of and had reservations with one of the employees, who they only saw briefly and never got to interact with. This disconnect was addressed beautifully by Holly. She said the employee didn't like he didn't get time with the dogs either and that other dogs also felt unsettled by not knowing who he was, and she made sure the dogs got to meet him more, and now all is dandy. It is so refreshing to know that Rocket Dog does everything in its power to care for my pups and my coworker's pup when we can't have them at work. It also gives me joy to support a female-run business! Thank you, Holly and Team, on behalf of Dune, Onyx and Granite.“
“I love this place! A friend recently told me about the pup daycare so we went to check them out. The employees were so friendly, full of positive energy, kind and understanding to our concerns for our spoiled boy, just overall amazing! We sent Enzo for his assessment and were able to watch him interact n the dogcam live. I love that they have inside and outside play. Enzo loves to be outside! I felt he was in a very safe, clean and cared for environment. I also appreciate that they are not over crowded. I will continue to use pups a daisy for daycare, boarding and may even check out the grooming some day!“
“Excellent!!! Had a number of openings which is wonderful for scheduling. Only two hours for our grooming“
“Coral was prompt and communicative while caring for my sweet fur babies Jeff & Ophelia, she even sent me pictures of them while I was away! Purrfect!“
“One-Hundred Percent a "wow" experience. My boy (a kitty) was just getting over being sick, so when I went away for two nights, I wanted someone to check in on him. On the initial visit to discuss my needs, Turkey-Boi immediately took to Sue. After I left, Sue would sends pics AND updates on how he was doing. It allowed me to enjoy my mini-vacation, because I knew Turkey was well and in good hands. Also, I find her rates to be VERY reasonable. With advance discussion, she will also administer meds, including subcutaneous fluids. That's also a wow.Five stars!!!“
“Our dog, Burke, has separation anxiety and was timid when I first dropped him off, as to be expected. When I picked him up he was so energetic and absolutely loved staying at Ann Marie’s! He enjoys all the other dogs there and is always excited when we pull into her street. 100% recommend her to everyone I know!“
“My golden retriever has always had a great experience. She’s always excited to return (even though she gets a little nervous about grooming). Thank you, Dog City team!“
“Pete has been extremely sweet to our nervous Great Dane and makes her feel at home there! I definitely recommend them.“
“Our lively dog attended daycare 2x/week for 4 years followed by 1x/week for 2 years. She thrived with the individual attention from the caretakers and the small group environment. We appreciated the love and attention she received and are grateful that DDO takes such care in the people they hire. She was always excited to go to DDO. We tried other doggy daycares that were closer to our home when she was younger as a matter of convenience, but they weren't a good fit for many reasons. DDO was worth the drive across town. We also did a nose work class at DDO a number a years ago that was awesome. Thanks DDO!“
“We are on the way home right now from his temperament evaluation and I didn't want to wait before reviewing because it was so positive! I love that the evaluation is at least 4hrs so you know that your pup has a complete experience instead of just a walk in, meet and greet walk out. The staff couldn't have been nicer. There were three folks working when I picked him up and each one knew him by name and completely understood his temperament. When they brought him back he ran to me with huge smiles but then ran right back to the staff who had leaned back down to get on his level. I had to shuffle him out because he didn't want to leave. Ooh and they have Go Home Spray - deodorizer spritz that they asked first if they could use to make sure there were no allergies. Higgins is a low to the ground Havanese so it's normal for him to come home from a daycare a little bit stinky. Not the case today! We will absolutely be coming here for day care! Thank you Lazy Dog Crazy Dog!“
“While I was busy with water damage repairs at home, they looked after my 12-year-old cat. Usually I hire a pet sitter for daily visits when I'm away, and my cat sometimes doesn't take it well and stays nervous for days even after my return. She's never been at a new place without me being around, and being around other cats.. I wasn't even sure. However, seeing how their cat guests interacted with the staff put my mind at ease almost immediately. I could tell how much care & affection they're getting from the staffs. The webcam assigned for each unit was a bonus! My cat ended up staying there for two months due to the construction delay. The staffs have been so understanding & accommodating throughout the multiple extensions. And despite all my worries, my cat seems like she has just returned from a relaxing vacation :) I wish the same experience for you & your cat as well!“
“I've worked in pet care for over a decade and am VERY picky about where I will take my dog. I've worked with many clients who use Camp Crockett and now we take our own dog there as well. Here is what I have observed: The staff are ON it. They are well trained in pack dynamics and they run a tight ship. This is very important as a lot of dog daycares are completely unaware of pack dynamics. It's mindblowing but true. My pup is a sweet guy but not the brightest. I wanted him to have fun, but not be bullied. He is so happy and clearly feels safe at Camp Crockett. When we get too boring at home, he goes up to his harness and asks to go! All the staff and owners clearly love dogs and they work hard to maintain a safe and happy space for the dogs. The area is also very clean. You will never find poop sitting around. Pee is rinsed regularly and all pups are required to be altered, vaccinated, and have updated fecal tests to prove they are in good health. I appreciate this too. Our guy has never been ill as a result of camp. I won't even take him to the dog park, but I trust Camp Crockett. I've had many pups over the years and taken care of a thousand more. Our dog is SO happy. He is living his best life and we are forever grateful to Camp Crockett. They are kind, they are hardworking, and they are dedicated. What more could we ask for?!“
“My puppy Cassia loves CityDog of Ballard. I recently had to bring her in for her first time away from me- 4 days of boarding. I was worried about her on her 1st day away until they sent a pic of her having a great time on her walk. Still, I was afraid she would be afraid to go back, but the next time I brought her in she ran to the door, and was wiggling with excitement to see the people at the counter. She is shy around most people, but she loves CityDog people like family!“
“I had to leave for a long trip, and they were so awesome in making sure my cats and house were taken care of! I definitely recommend using them if you want some peace of mind and detailed care visits :)“
