1519 Queen Anne Ave N, Seattle“I took a razor class from Allegra and this is a shortened version of my review/experience “This razor class was nothing short of transformative. Ericka and Allegra were perfectly in sync, creating an intimate, engaging experience that felt tailored to each of us. It wasn’t just about learning a new technique—it was about trusting myself, embracing my uniqueness, and growing as both a stylist and a human. The class had a Socratic vibe, where we learned through conversation and connection. I walked away feeling seen, inspired, and more confident in my craft. I’m so grateful for this experience—it went beyond education, it was a beautiful reminder to keep unfolding.
Whether you’re at zero. for education or a haircut, it will transform you in ways that your soul has been waiting for. ?
Specialties: There is advanced razor cutting education for hairstylists.“

Sienna did such a good job of listening and giving me what I wanted. She is also a fantastic conversationalist—it didn't feel like small talk but like chatting with a friend. Definitely recommend Sienna for all aspects of the salon experience!

5400 Leary Ave NW #3, Seattle“I’m visiting from California, and I just had the best experience with Samantha! She was recommended by my cousins from Seattle, and I'm so glad I went. She did my brow wax, lash lift, and a blowout, and I’m obsessed with how everything turned out. Samantha is super detail-oriented and made me feel totally comfortable the whole time. My brows are on point, my lashes look amazing, and my hair is flawless. If you’re looking for an awesome beauty expert, you have to check out Samantha. She’s amazing!“

Mosaic Ballard Blocks Attn: No Harm Studio #2, 1416 NW 46th St #301, Seattle“I had been searching for at least a year, maybe more, for someone who could redo my extremely thick and grown out wolf cut in a way that I liked. Many had tried, but few were brave enough to just attack it with scissors-- except Anita! I entered with heavy, shapeless hair and left feeling like a million bucks. Anita was super skillful and clearly experienced with specialty cuts, plus so friendly and nice the whole time. I've finally found my go-to and will be back for my future trims!“

5101 25th Ave NE Space 8 Suite 11, Seattle“I've been visiting Valerie for years now and I heartily recommend her salon!
The salon itself is a cozy single room in a shared salon building, which lends a very calm air to the space. The restrooms and waiting areas are in a shared hallway, but all of the services are in closed rooms so I rarely overhear others during my appointments. It's lovely to be able to have a conversation and not have all the other bustle of many stylists etc. in the same room. Pricing is reasonable and based on the kind of service, so it goes up as things get more complex. I've never been surprised by the cost at the end of the appointment as prices are clear and Valerie is upfront and transparent with the cost of services.
As a stylist, Valerie is helpful, communicative, and enthusiastic at every appointment. I'm an easygoing hair person, so I don't have much experience with her more complex styles and cuts, but she does a superb job making me feel like my short (potentially kind of boring) haircuts come out looking stylish and a little different when I ask for that. She always listens and confirms that she understands what kind of cut I'm thinking of before diving in and making it a reality. I have had one bright color service, which was super fun too - Valerie had great suggestions for pairing a colored section of hair with my outfit for a special occasion. Vivid purple looked great with my green dress! She is a warm, welcoming person and has created a comfortable atmosphere where everyone can have a great experience.“

405 Cedar St, Seattle“Noah is amazing - I had a haircut appointment scheduled with him, he did such a good job with it, and he also gave me a hair color consultation during the haircut and discussed various options that would suit my hair texture and color. I also later scheduled a hair color appointment with him (partial balayage) that I was super nervous about, but he did such a good job picking out the perfect color for my skin tone and natural hair color to get that perfect contrast. He did a wonderful job with a hair blow out towards the end as well, just the way I wanted it. I was so happy with my end result, and I’d definitely recommend Noah for both a haircut and a hair color appointment!
Thanks again, Noah!
Requested style: I wanted a layered haircut because of how thick my hair is, so it feels lighter, and I wanted face-frame defining bangs as well that I could tuck behind my ears if I wanted.
Hair type: Curly, frizz-prone“

401 Broadway E 101 STE 201, Seattle“I struggled to find a barber who listened to my concerns and gave me back in depth knowledge of my hair and growing patterns coming back to Seattle 7 years ago. I randomly came across Erick and haven't looked at another barber since. He listens, gives clear concise answers to my conce, consistent, detail oriented and most important understands what I want and executes my expectations every time. 10/10 times you'll walk away from Erick feeling like you have a new plate of armor.“

5416 California Ave SW Unit 1, Seattle“I recently moved to West Seattle and was well Overdue for a haircut. I didn't have any good referrals but some research on local salons and barbers led me to give Shane a try in West Seattle Salon. I could not have been happier with the entire experience. The salon itself is an older Seattle home successfully converted into an open welcoming salon. The shampoo room is a quiet spa like space at the back where the room is wonderfully scented from the Davines products are used. Shane was welcoming and clearly understood exactly what I wanted, he transformed my overgrown head of hair perfectly and I was at ease with him right away with both his professional and personal demeanor blended together seamlessly. Honestly, it all excelled my expectations so much and I am thrilled to have found a spot to call "my" spot so quickly in my new home.“

Laurel’s cut has been perfect for me. She’s very thoughtful and precise. My first appointment was 1 1/2 hours and very well worth it.
Requested style: I brought some pictures of bobs and she did a great job giving me a cut that works with my facial shape and is easy to style and maintain.“

“I got a keratin treatment for the 2nd time -- the first time, Kimmie was my stylist. This time, Michell did my hair. Fantastic experience both times! True, the salon itself could be updated, but the customer service, transparent pricing, and the results themselves are all 5 stars and I highly recommend! My hair is naturally very curly and I always get my hair cut when it's curly. After my treatment today, it was obvious that (when straightened), my most recent haircut was very crooked. Michell took the time to finish the keratin treatment and fix up my length in the back. Will be going back again! I think for the time taken, the quality of the service, and the length of my hair, the price is fair as well. The keratin treatment makes sense as the most expensive service (for my length, the entire process took 3 hours), but I'm willing to pay knowing that it's going to a smaller, local business!“
