“I recently had my hair cut for the first time in 7 years by the fabulous Saida. As a woman with curly hair I had been traumatized 1 too many times by bad hair cuts in the hands of stylists who didn’t know how to cut curly hair. I explained this to Saida. She said that she was going to cut each curl piece by piece and would show me where she wanted to cut and ask before cutting each piece. That was amazing to ease my anxiety and help with my trust. I have very slow growth and Saida gave me lots of instructions on how to nourish my hair so it will break less and also how to stimulate growth. She’s genuinely such a kind person. “When I moved to the area over a year ago one of my main priorities was finding someone to cut my hair, as someone who has had their fair share of bad haircuts and color services over the year I have trust issues when it comes to my hair.After doing my research I booked my first appointment with Arpad. I 100% trust the advice and opinions he shares, and the fact that it’s been over a year and I still come to see him specifically should say a lot!One thing I love about coming to him is that he’s honest with what will and won’t work with your face shape. Sometimes it’s easy to be influenced into wanting something you see that looks good on someone else but you need someone to be honest instead of just blindly agreeing and you leaving with something that doesn’t look like your inspo pic.I’ve had a few different cuts with him (having both long hair and shorter (to me) hair) from long layers and face framing , maintenance trimming, even the big “chop” earlier this year and I always leave pleased with my hair!Today I wanted (or thought I wanted) rounded layers with heavy face framing (think 90s) and he explained why he wouldn’t suggest that cut for my face shape. Once I got the picture he suggested a modern s*** to get the movement in my hair I wanted, no shocker here *he was right* I love it, it gives me the volume and movement I was looking for while we still maintained the length I wanted to preserve.Today I left with some new shampoo and conditioner from R&Co that he used while he shampooed my hair, it leaves your hair so soft, after using kerastase exclusively for the last 5 years it was time for a change.The salon itself is modern and clean and I’ve always had really pleasant experiences with booking and rescheduling when needed.Service: Haircut“
