“Got the job done (I think-we’ll see if it lasts), but wasn’t impressed with the process from the start. Between scheduling, the quote, and the guys completing the job- if I asked questions, it was unsure what the answer was. They either “needed to check on it” or deferred to someone else. I didn’t have a lot of confidence from the beginning and probably should have chooses a different company. I was charged more than I thought the job would cost and they didn’t have a good explanation or break down for the cost.Update: Received a follow up call. Owner was great about making things right. Offered a refund and follow up call in 6 months to make sure we are still satisfied with the work.“

From the start, the quote for my home was so competitive, especially considering that straight-down-the-line, they use the best products money can buy. “Very pleased with this company. Tyler from Cherry roofing came out for estimate. He was very professional and went over my roof replacement bid.We had high winds from the winter storm and tore off many areas of my roof during the storm. I had my temporary tarp tear come off because of the high winds keep causing to come up. I was about to go up on the roof myself to install another tarp when i happened to come home and Tyler was going to leave a bid at my doorstep. I met with him and he went over what the bid included and my options for roofing material to use. It seem reasonable with comparing to other bids i did receive from other contractors.I told him if he could get someone over to install another tarp over my roof today i would take his bid. The stress of my roof might be leaking and causing me more damage in the meantime was keeping me up at night. He was able to make a call and get one of his crews out within the hour to tarp up my roof. Very pleased with them being able to fit me in such short notice.I was waiting on my insurance company to come out to look at the damage before i could proceed with the roof replacement. Insurance came out couple weeks later and gave me the okay to proceed with the bid that Cherry gave me.They came out a week later in did complete tear off & replacement. Very happy with the work when completed.they sent a supervisor out to look over the job when the job completed check over the crews work.Tyler came back to go over the final bill and warranty paperwork.I myself is in the construction trade and it is so nice to work with another company who prides themselves in customer service and quality work.I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Cherry roofing company. I will recommend them to all my friends and clients at my work for a roofing contractor.Randy“

“Alux Painting just completed an exterior repaint of my 15-year-old house, and 12-year-old shop. The work included repair to the vertical trim boards on the southeast and southwest corners of the shop, which had evidence of rot.Of the 3 quotes we obtained, Daniel's was not the least expensive, nor the most expensive. Information contained in the quote, and during my discussion when Daniel came out to look at my buildings, about repair to the trim boards was THE deciding factor - we knew that Daniel would do the right things, we did not have that confidence in the other two contractors from whom we obtained quotes.Daniel and his crew were responsive to questions - including the one dumb question that I asked where I realized I was wrong after Daniel's explanation. As the work drew to a close, there were a couple of items that my wife or I found, and they were addressed on the spot.We're very happy with the final result.“
“Had our roof done about 4 years ago. He honored an old estimate he gave a year earlier. The crew was quick and polite. I definitely recommend Blair Roofing. Update: August/23 Had my gutters replaced and the overlap trim piece install during the roofing project was a little too tight for the gutter installers. Without question or cost to me, Blair Roofing removed the trim pieces and then reinstalled them after the gutter work was completed. Quickly and quietly. Update: October /23 Asked Jim Blair if he had any used composite shingles for our steps and ramp in our back yard. “They did a great job! The ONLY reason I put four stars down is that I had a handy man out here today, for a different reason, only 5 days after the gutter cleaning was done and he pointed out the nail at the back corner of the gutter was sticking way out. We didn’t look at the nails on the other side of the house so…..maybe there’s one sticking out there, too? I don’t think the work order said they would nail down any loose nails, like that, but the Handy man also does gutter cleaning and said that anyone doing that kind of work would hammer down the loose nails, when they see those so…..it felt like maybe they should have done that as a standard thing to do in the industry. I have no idea if the nail was already loose or if it could have loosened during their cleaning. Since I don’t know….I’m certainly not blaming them. The guys did a great job on the cleaning. I was horrified to see the amount of water that had been stuck in my gutters when I just happened to walk outside and they had just cleared a clog. The water kept pouring out for what felt like forever. I will never again skip the yearly gutter cleaning and I will use them again. I also asked for pics and video of the clean gutters and the men didn’t forget that I wanted to see those and had that for me to see.“
