“Love this place and, most importantly, my kid does too. The staff is attentive, welcoming and super friendly. They have a lot of additional activities besides the martial arts lessons. Looking forward to my kid getting his black belt at some point ;)“
“I can not say enough about how wonderful this experience has been for our 8 year old. Mindy is always so welcoming and gracious while Master Park is very, kind and patient. He makes sure that the students are attentive and that they execute their forms correctly. You can tell that they care about making sure the students succeed in Tae Kwon Do as well as in life!“
“My daughter is enjoying learning martial arts at MIMA. She has become more self confident, and is learning about leadership. Besides providing a great outlet for energy! The instructors are very supportive and she loves going to martial arts.“
“I don’t even know where to start. Jiu-Jitsu is such a unique brother hood. As one of the cornerstones of MMA it requires sparring. Sparring is unique especially when you get to do it with people whom you have never met (and not in a competition setting). James’s place didn’t disappoint. The rolls I had there were nothing short of awesome. It’s also super unique that an accomplished athlete such as James to even roll with drop in athletes!!! In the short hour and a half that I was there I felt like I found a family for myself on the southern Seattle seaboard!“
“I have been to many different gym and clubs over the years. By far this is the best so far! May God bless the owner and his wife. Very good people. Highly recommend it.“
“Our son has been going here for the past 2 years and has absolutely loved it. He not only engages with the physical activity and coordination but also the mental lessons and challenges the dojo offers in the form of values and little bits of homework to engage with those values ( things like honesty, sportsmanship, self control, etc). He had his birthday party here and a friend joined and has loved it too. Great instructors and structure to the classes. Cannot recommend it enough.“
“Grandmaster Kim and his Kwon Moo style is a rare find in the sea of martial arts schools. Grandmaster is all business when it comes to training and his black belt students reflect his ethos. Great family friendly environment, great instruction and great people.“
“I joined November 2022 and would like to share this review/experience after 17 months. I grew up playing soccer and doing things like track/field since I was 5 years old. In my phase of late 20s/early 30s, I wanted to try something new and decided on martial arts.Quantum is a very welcoming place, extremely inclusive, and a community driven dojo. I wanted to learn a blended style of both grappling and striking. The Quantum style offers that and more. I also received the unexpectedly benefit of stretching/warm-ups every class - I feel way more amazing on the inside than I ever did a year ago due to training my flexibility! The first two weeks are free and you can also make other arrangement with the teacher(s) to figure out how to make best of the trial period. If you are looking for a hardcore MMA gym, this is not the place. If you seek inspiration, courtesy, friends that you can punch, and learning inwardly how far you can go, Quantum Martial Arts might just be for you! I encourage you to give a try!“
“Really great community-my daughter was welcomed and really enjoys Capoeira. Very much recommend lessons.“
“Fantastic school for serious practitioners of any level. I started out with no prior combat sports experience and I appreciate the gentle path I've been able to take to where I am now. I think this school is worth wherever you have to drive from to make it. A truly special studio. +++++++++Update: in the short 8 months I've spent here, I've learned so much fundamental skills I can draw from muscle memory. Really satisfied.“
“Best school ever! Great Sifu who cares about her students and building community. Queer and BIPOC friendly.“
“Amazing and recommended!!! Master Park is wonderful with Kids of all ages. I have a KG , who is Master Park student since December 2023. Within this short period, he has improved focus, determination and discipline. The number of reviews here on google reviews does not showcase the great work that Master Park . If you are in the Bellevue area, I would highly suggest Master Park's TKD for all round development for your child.“
“We love this place. The teacher for the kids (Jeff) is super professional, very nice, and extremely patient. My daughter says he’s the best teacher she’s ever had in her life. They learn a lot more than just Aikido techniques, but also good life philosophies.“
“Bellevue Kendo is incredible. This is no "black belt mill" - you actually have to earn your advancement. It's run by Jeff Marsten (well known in Kendo) and his crew of senseis. If you want personal challenge and serious growth, or a place for your kids where they are driven and worked hard - this is it.What you get for the price is truly incredible - it must be subsidized by the city.“
“Sensei Eric was a great teacher and very friendly. I got personal attention throughout the class and loved the aura of the place. Definitely recommend everyone to try this place at least once. Aikido is a beautiful martial art form.“
“Best MMA gym in Seattle. Full of actual trained MMA, kickboxing fighters , and grapplers. Very welcoming community and funny, and the coaches train people to win. It’s a real fight gym, and the fighters reflect that.“
“Great dojo! I’ve been going to Z-ultimate for 2 years and it’s been an amazing time here. The sensei’s are all nice and fun to be trained by and to talk to. The place is always clean and nice looking. All the students that go here too are all some of the nicest people i’ve met and are always nice to train with. If you are looking for a place to practice or learn martial arts i recommend this dojo.“
“My son has been going here since he was almost 3 and he loves Master Dye and he really loves going here. He is doing great and really picks up the routines easily because they work so well with the kids. He is also respectful and polite and he learns that at Karate (and home ?)“
“I primarily train Muay Thai here, so I'll speak on that. It's a great training environment for beginners as well as competitive amateur fighters. Both coaches are absolute killers but also very nice and easy to get along with. The classes focus heavily on technique but provide a decent workout as well. More advanced people stay after class for open mat, which are mostly sparring, but you can also do bag work or work on specific drills. Egos do exist but are rare and not the norm here. Those with a lot of ego who go hard in sparring with no respect towards others eventually get it handed to them by more advanced fighters, so that balances things out and keep the training culture respectful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try combat sports and to grow in the art of Muay Thai with a supportive group.“
“My 8-year-old son recently joined the Gracie Barra Renton, and he absolutely loves it. The coaches are fantastic at guiding and encouraging each student, ensuring everyone feels included regardless of their skill level. The environment is family friendly, and the facility is kept very clean. Everyone has made us feel very welcome!“
