“Third appointment in and there is no hiding them now. I am loving this experience with crocheting and having someone else do maintenance. Let me remind you it’s my 5th time with dreads and only time so far I have continued maintenance. All the times before I would start them myself or just have the one appointment to put them in. I had a few fall out after last time and it was so nice to not worry about it. Jonquil was amazing and fixed them right up. I don’t have to worry about wax or rolling them. And not spending 30+ minutes every few days on my hair for maintenance is great. I do still wash at least twice a week, it helps me with the itchy scalp. And as recommended by Jonquil I am still using a sea salt spray. When I get a little frustrated with the frizzing I will use a water base gel. Thank you Jonquil!“

She was kind enough to squeeze me in right before my flight for a conference I was attending where I would be a guest speaker and I was so grateful. I’ve been self conscious about my edges for a while now and after explaining that to her she worked her magic with my crochet style and had my hair looking full, neat and well kept.

She chose a braid pattern that worked perfectly for my head shape and lack of edges. Her hands are blessed and the braids for my protective style were on point with perfect parts. “I contacted Jill because she has great reviews. She wasn't taking new clients, but asked me to send photos and hair concerns/preferences. She gave me the name of a great stylist at Dolce Salon on 6th Ave in Tacoma. He was great, but he's moving to Texas so I'll have to find another. Jill was amazing, considering she wasn't going to make any money from me! She went above-and-beyond to help me find the right stylist for me. Super professional! Now that my guy has moved, I'm going to see if she's taking new clients. Her professionalism and compassion impressed the heck out of me, and I'm betting she's an amazing stylist!“

“I am a redhead transitioning to grey. I want to just be grey and thought a salon could dye my hair grey in one visit. I asked a friend where to go and she recommended Melissa. I texted her and she called back the next day. I walked into her very cool salon and we began to chat. She was kind and understanding as she shared her expertise about a redhead going grey. Not possible. Red is impossible to lift. My hair would have been damaged beyond repair. She highlighted in some blonde to help with the transition and gave me a fabulous hair cut. I will go to see her in 2 months to continue the slow transition. Mellisa is a master at her craft and a darling person. I was there for 4 hours and had a great day with her.“
