“Terry and her staff were absolutely amazing in caring for my mom. They really treat their residents like family. I appreciated everyday my mom was dressed and sitting in the living room with the other residents. They even eat their meals together at the kitchen table. It is definitely a family atmosphere where I knew mom was loved, safe and getting great care everyday. I was blessed to have found such a wonderful place for my mom.“

“I have been using Sunrise's Caregiving training center over the past 12 years on and off for various certifications. The workers are always very knowledgable and have first hand experience being caregivers themselves, which greatly helps when it comes to questions. I recently came in for orientation to become a Sunrise employee and am impressed with the cleanliness and presentation of the building - inside and out! They have painted the rooms so that its not just LED lighting and white walls that give headache vibes. Instead, it feels professional and comfortable. I had to spend 5 hours here on this recent visit and look forward to the 75 hour training where 4 full days will be spent in person at this location. There are parking spots on both sides of the building but you are able to go from one side to the other if you park on the wrong side. There's a kitchenette with coffee, water, and a place to store lunch but I always recommend bringing your own and not bringing anything you need to heat up. This way everything is easy for you and you can maximize your break time without having to hassle over meal preparation. I highly recommend Sunrise if you want to become a caregiver, and they do have internal pay rates once you are certified. The classes make sense, and are hybrid so 4 of the days are in person, the rest are online at home. It's a great way to get certified and allows you to start work quickly while being fully prepared.“

“I was grandfathered in as a caregiver 18 years ago when it was Armstrong in home healthcare and l am still present as a caregiver. I have had 3 generations of my famly that have also worked for this company. My mom who retired at her 15 year mark and my daughter who worked 3 years until she moved out of state. Ive had pretty amazing supervisors l have Julia Filippov and Joyce DeLeon they are both amazing they both are hardworking and get things done not only for there clients but there employees also. I can always call and if l dont get an answer right away l will get a call back in a quickly matter and not everyday is peaches and cream but there always there to put a smile on your face!“

“Home Instead has been such a wonderful resource as caregiving for my husband and giving me some well needed free time and breaks thru the week. Steve, who has been with us close to 6 months is just outstanding!! He even saved my husband from choking, which was a very frightening event. All of the staff is warm and caring. Available at all times when I need them, and they check on us regularly to make sure we are doing well and are receiving all the that we need. Highly recommend them.“
