I recently had my hair cut for the first time in 7 years by the fabulous Saida. As a woman with curly hair I had been traumatized 1 too many times by bad hair cuts in the hands of stylists who didn’t know how to cut curly hair. I explained this to Saida. She said that she was going to cut each curl piece by piece and would show me where she wanted to cut and ask before cutting each piece. That was amazing to ease my anxiety and help with my trust. I have very slow growth and Saida gave me lots of instructions on how to nourish my hair so it will break less and also how to stimulate growth. She’s genuinely such a kind person. Saida has been taking care of my mom, sister and I for the last 15 years. She is talented, kind, funny and has taught me so much about my hair. She is skilled in taking care of people of all hair types, including people of mixed race. I highly recommend her salon and services.
