“I have waited on leaving this review.My beloved kitty cat, churro, came to Alex as a new client a few weeks ago.I was not at the appointment to drop her off, but I was told the transfer between the groomer and churro was quite a pleasant process for everyone. Once churro had her nails clipped she was ready to be left for the procedure which was a teddy bear cut.Churro had a few mats when she visited, and also was having issues with the fur around he butt since it was so long.Churro didn't seem very stressed when she arrived home, but it does get some taking used to- churro is very active and she was used to having her fur as some sort of pillow layer of protection when she played- a few days after she got used to her haircut she learned a whole new style of playing , she is spending less time on grooming actually and more time in cuddling. I can tell she feels really great with her new haircut, and the vet gave her a compliment on her haircut about a week and a half after she visited.I have contemplated this review since she got home, but I haven't left it yet because I wanted to see her behavior with the haircut and I can say it's worth the 6am appointment ... he even gave her a goodie bag filled with a bunch of toys, one of which she has deemed as favorite and uses it frequently to play fetch.On top of that, he made her backpack carrier a nice looking label and lined it with a soft pee pad.Thank you so much alex- the care and expertise you put into your craft really shows and I'm glad churro got to go see you. “This place has been a god send!! I have a large pit bull who hates having her nails trimmed, most places end up doing a botch job. I was beyond impressed by how quick, professional, and painless the whole experience was. My dog can be quite dramatic, but they even had 1 staff hand feeding her treats while another worked on her nails. Even then they were super quick and her nails have never been better. I can’t say enough about this place. Very considerate staff, clean facilities, and they actually have legit hypo-allergenic shampoo whereas other places I’ve tried leaves my dog even more itchy than before. They really know what they are doing at this place!“

“Melissa is the very best! I'm fussy with my own hair and that of my mini goldendoodle! We've been with Melissa for well over a year now and her dedication, love and joy she has for her pup clients is off the charts! She is the kindest and most patient and always gets it just right! My pup gets individualized care for any anxieties with mom walking out the door and she gets breaks during her groom too. Not to mention treats, lickpads, water breaks and all the things! She is always SO happy when I pick her up and I just can't say thank you enough. The drive from SeaTac is worth it and we are happy to pay any specialty prices for the TLC we get here!“

“The staff here is friendly and genuinely cares about pets. I've had my dog's nails clipped here, and we've also utilized the self-serve dog wash station. It's incredibly convenient to have this facility just a couple of miles from home. While the prices are slightly higher compared to what I'm accustomed to from where I used to live, it's worth it to avoid having dog hair clog our drains.“

“I’ve been taking Uber to Pickles ever since she was a wee pup. Now Uber is 2 years old, we only stopped going because we moved away from Redmond. Really wish we had a Pickles in Seattle!I love that they have a schedule during daycare. There are times during pickup where the lights are off, the structured downtime definitely helped Uber relax at home too.They host cute events like movie time and massage days.I opted into nail and bath services frequently, and she always comes home looking great. Never smells like dog either.Note that they don’t do daycare on Saturdays and Sundays, but I believe they do board.Uber always comes home happy and tired, and I can tell that the staff genuinely enjoyed her presence as well. We’ll miss Pickles, it’s a great daycare.“

“I have been bringing my dogs to Bark N Style since it opened and am a big fan. I currently have a Gordon Setter and it speaks volumes that he enters the salon willingly and warmly greets his groomer. I appreciate the willingness of each groomer to check what kind of cut I want and what additional services and I am always pleased with the final results. In addition, I bring my dog in for nail trims and I appreciate the convenience of their walk in option.“

“Came in for a nail trim, which I typically dread because not only does my dog hate this and typically freaks out (very vocal, stressed, etc) the whole time, but I also find it stressful to listen to him struggle. At Just Around the Corner, the groomer was totally unfazed, reassuring my dog the entire time, working with him through the nail trim. To make him extra comfortable she even had us come back the next day to split up front and back in different sessions to avoid over stressing him. All this to say that while nail trims are equally stressful for my dog and me, I cannot recommend enough Just Around the Corner for their kindness, patience and sensitivity to my pup. Plus $9 for a walk in nail trim is a great deal (with basically no wait time!).“

“I brought my 7 year old (mildly anxious) Aussie here for his first ever wash/cut and all my expectations were exceeded. Faye executed exactly what I asked for and I couldn’t believe how good he looked, felt, and smelt when I picked him up. Pricing also felt extremely reasonable for what we got. She gave me an estimate of 3 hours and was right on the nose! Highly, highly recommend Faye and am very pleased with our first experience at Posh Paws!“

“They groomed my golden retriever and my Samoyed. Best groom either has ever had. Both of my girls are nervous about grooming, but both were calm and did not seem overly stressed when they were done. Both have silky fur and smell good!“
