Eastside Kitchen & Bath Contractors

“Eastside Kitchen & Bath took our old bathroom and gave us the bathroom of our dreams! We had a really bland, poorly utilized bathroom that hadn’t been updated in 25 years. EKB helped us maximize the space with tons of storage, a beautiful shower, and a full wall of tile that makes the space so unique. We loved everyone we worked with at Eastside but our project manager Alex really made the project seamless. He kept everything on schedule, was so communicative, and solved every problem before it came up and then let us know the plan to resolve the issues. We ended up adding on multiple additional projects with EKB because they were so easy to work with including swapping all our interior doors, redoing all our upstairs baseboards, and painting the exterior of our house. All the work was lovely and everyone from their team was polite, communicative, and hard working. We picked a lot of small tiles which meant the tilers, Sean and Jeff, were here for several weeks and they did beautiful work.

We can’t say enough good things about the experience and we can’t wait to work with EKB on our kitchen remodel next ?“

Hatano Studio - Interior Design and Remodel Contractors

“My parents have used Yumi on multiple occasions to get her help redoing their various renovations. I just recently bought my own place and had a couple of tricky questions regarding design and aesthetics that I was trying to figure out. I asked Yumi for her opinion and help and not only did she provide guidance, but she went out and got samples, sent me pictures, and provided her reasoning for certain details. I was able to see my space in a whole new light. She carries out her work being responsible, professional, and going above and beyond. She is great at what she does!“

McAdams Remodeling & Design Contractors

“This year we completed a major renovation with McAdams. A few years ago we had them redo our powder room and laundry room as a test run to see what they were like to work with. Suffice it to say, we were so wowed by the experience that we knew we could trust them to complete the big project that we had been hoping to do for years. This whole-house remodel involved a complete kitchen redo, removing and adding walls to reconfigure our floor plan, a complete redo of our master bath, and expansion of our house's square footage with two small additions (one to the kitchen and one to our bathroom). In addition, every room in the house was "touched" in some way: new lighting throughout, new millwork, changing out regular doors for pocket doors, new plumbing fixtures, new paint. Our house has been completely transformed through this process.

We always knew our house had great bones, and we love the area we live in and our neighborhood, but the 70s layout and "handyman special" upgrades left much to be desired. After this renovation, our house is now what we always hoped it could be.

As for the process of working with McAdams, I don't think it could have gone much smoother. Any major renovation is going to have some headaches and glitches, but Dale and his team do everything they can to minimize that. Almost all of the glitches we hit were due to supply chain problems and were not the fault of McAdams.

We started planning this project about six months to a year before the start date. During that time, we met regularly with owners Kat and Dale, architect Cindy, and designer Kristina, to work out exactly what we envisioned for our project. For me, working closely with Kat and Kristina was essential. I feel like I "know" what I want, but I can have a very hard time expressing it at times. Somehow, these two amazing ladies were able to translate my cryptic musings into reality. I don't know how they did it!

Once the groundbreaking started, we got to know the amazing crew who worked on our project very well. Our lead carpenter was Chris, and he is a great guy to work with. He has extremely high standards for his workmanship and for those around him, and you see that in the finished results. He and his team are not the kinds to cut corners just to get done quicker. The other carpenter who worked with him most of the time was Hamza, and he is also a wonderful guy: polite, kind and incredibly hard working. McAdams hires great subs, and our favorites by far are the electricians they work with: Ron, Bart, Brandon and Aidan. Honestly, by the end of this project, I kind of felt like this whole group was part of our family. We miss everyone now the project is over. Our consolation is that we now get to live in a house that is exactly what we always hoped for and that we hope we will live in for a long time.“

Fix & Remodel LLC Contractors

“Our experience with the owner George Beck was outstanding. We had a small bathroom to redo. He gave us an estimate that was well under other estimates. Not only did George complete the job on time and on budget, but we were excited at the outcome. We also asked George to do a couple of small jobs that he gave us an estimate for, and he completed them on time and budget. I would recommend George for any type of remodeling. He works quickly with care and gives an outstanding completed project.“

Handy Andy the Handyman, LLC Contractors

“I had Handy Andy do a small bathroom renovation plus install a closet door and a glass shower door in another bathroom. Their work was excellent and reasonably priced. They helped me choose the tiles and flooring, and I’m so glad I listened to them because their choices were beautiful. I’ve had some not-so-great experiences with other contractors, so I really appreciated how great Chris and Kathy were to work with. I will definitely choose Handy Andy for any future projects.Services: Tile work installation“

Luxe Remodeling Contractors

“I worked with Luxe Remodeling for my home remodel and Nasser (GC) and his team were absolutely the best! It was a full home remodel (2.5 bathrooms, kitchen, hand railing, replacing interior and exterior doors, remodeling two fireplaces, treating wall texture, full home repainting as well as LVP flooring and carpet).

The project was complex and involved removing multiple load bearing walls, as well as transferring the kitchen to make an open layout, nevertheless Nasser handled every stage of the project with great professionalism. All the way from the demolition stage, working under permit, framing, electrical and plumbing work, to the final touch ups, Nasser demonstrated great grasp of the many details that go in construction projects, knowledge of the city codes, and unmatched attention to details (even for details that get hidden behind the walls!!).

One thing I really enjoyed was not only how well Nasser supervised his team to ensure high quality craftsmanship, but how hands-on he was, working directly on many parts of the project himself and demonstrating his great experience. He’s a true magician!

During the project Nasser showed up on the job site Every-Single-Day!! Ensuring supervision for all work done at the home the entire time. Nasser also went above and beyond in supervising work that was done at the home outside our contract (e.g. HVAC system replacement, and building a french drain around the home).

At the start of the project we shared designs for what we aspire for our home interior design, and we got exactly what we dreamed of! Luxe remodeling is definitely now my go to recommendation for any future home improvement project!“

Innovative Kitchen & Bath Contractors

“We are thrilled with the finished upstairs remodel. It was delivered on schedule and within budget. Jorge, our project manager, made it all possible. He invested long hours, detail and hard work into creating a beautiful and memorable space for our family. He is meticulous and has a good eye for quality craftsmanship. The plumbing, electrical and tile subcontractors were also delightful and did excellent work. Also, the kitchen & bath designer and office administrator were terrific. One word of caution if you're considering getting work done with Innovative Kitchen & Bath, make sure you clearly define what substantial project completion means. In our experience, Bill Dishman told us our project was substantially completed and asked for final payment before toilets, showers and flooring were installed. Ensure that is clearly defined before signing the contract and keep the paperwork handy.Service: Remodeling“
