My wife and I were looking at repairing cedar shake siding from **** so that we could put on a new coat of paint. Our quotes for paint were complicated by having leaded paint from decades ago underneath newer coats. ***** gave ** a quote for new board and ****** pre painted HardiePlank siding and painted flashing to cover the fascia that was equal to the quotes we had for repair and new paint. It included new vapor barrier and along with the expected life of the painted ******************* made much more financial sense than wasting money painting the aging shakes. **** and his crew were great to work with. We had a potential water infiltration issue with defective siding and **** got us scheduled to do the repair within a few days of visiting. Other contractors in the area were booked weeks/months out even to do a job that took about 1 day. I appreciated how transparent and communicative he and his crew are. They were also very complimentary of the quality my new home which was very reassuring as a first time homeowner. I will be calling **** first when I need any additional siding work done.
