At about 2-3 years old, our dog Bailey had become difficult to handle with resource guarding in our home, and reactive behavior around other dogs in public. We were unable to manage these situations on our own, so we hired Amanda at Westward Hound to help.Amanda was very patient and knowledgable. Through our training sessions, we were taught how to identify the situations and triggers that set off Bailey and how to manage her stress to avoid problems. Bailey is a now a much better dog and we feel empowered to avoid problems in the future. We highly recommend Amanda’s dog training services!“

“Our dog Cabbage attended board and train for a week and the experience was overwhelmingly positive for both her and us. We met with Christine ahead of time so she could get to know Cabbage and understand some of our main training goals. The week we were gone Christine worked with Cabbage every day using positive reinforcement techniques only. She gave us daily updates on what they worked on and she also sent us videos as well so we could better understand the process. I am pleased to say Cabbage came home a very happy girl and has definitely shown signs of improvement on some of the key areas of focus. I highly recommend this program, the dogs are treated with so much care and respect and Christine is communicative and trustworthy.“
“Our dog, Burke, has separation anxiety and was timid when I first dropped him off, as to be expected. When I picked him up he was so energetic and absolutely loved staying at Ann Marie’s! He enjoys all the other dogs there and is always excited when we pull into her street. 100% recommend her to everyone I know!“

Our dog is slowly but surely becoming more focused and attentive to us rather than being distracted by everything around him. “We brought Cici (8 yo YoChon F, timid) for her second grooming here. She loved it. Again!! We been here twice and both times we've had a great experience. Mainly, Cici comes out happy to show off, clearly they be been glowing up in the back. I went to a local Bothell groomer recently and paid $120 only to have a dirty and scared dog. Petco is awesome. This Petco has great groomers. They even got us in on Christmas EveNeedless to say, a new Lamby came home too. Like I said. Cici is over the moon and sleeping with her Lamby. She really had fun today. That's the most important. 2nd she's beautiful for Christmas. 3rd. When we were in the store I met the small animal guy and he loved them. He loves them. Finally, I met the on floor and on duty manager. She's maintaining this large store very well. I think, this is a good Petco.“
