I was referred to Cypress at Luminous Roots at the onset of Covid and I couldn't be more grateful to be her client today.
I have several rare and progressive diseases that cause systemic inflammation, central sensitivity syndrome (CSS) a very painful nerve disease, systemic CRPS-II, and generalized Dystonia (tremors/spasms) to name a few.
Dystonia is a neuroinflammatory neuromuscular disease that's like having Parkinson's and a seizure disorder all in one. This leaves all of my muscles rigid and in spasms 24/7.
Cypress's 20 years of experience with various massage techniques and energy work has made her a master at assessing what your body and muscles need....read full review
Cypress is an amazing healer. She is gifted in her touch through massage as well as healing your heart through her words and knowing. I have been her patient for over 2 years and will continue for life.
Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality Service & Care My chiropractor did a thorough review of my chronic (#45 incurable, inflammatory, autoimmune diseases) health issues she referred me to Cypress at Luminous Roots. One of my chronic conditions is systemic dystonia. Dystonia is a very painful, neuroinflammatory, neuromuscular disease, that is much like having Parkinson's and a bad seizure disorder in one. Cypress has over 20 years of experience and is phenomenal at assessing what the body needs and then employs her variety of techniques to address them. I leave with my back, neck, shoulders, and limbs feeling unbelievably relaxed and in substantially less pain. Cypress shares her positive energy, years of expert skills and experience, with every client. Her intention to provide each client with the maximum relaxation and chronic pain relief through massage therapy is evidenced by how you feel as you float out of her practice. The office is meticulous, calm and inviting, with ample parking. There's the added benefit of having a fabulous naturopath and pharmacy in the same office. In 26 years of living with multiple chronic and debilitating diseases, having an expert massage therapist is the difference between being homebound and isolated from uncontainable muscle spasticity, to being able to participate in the outside world. Regaining even temporary physical freedom is the biggest gift ever! Both my husband and I couldn't be more grateful. You won't be disappointed
