There was a small delay from the concrete supplier, which the team kept us up to date on, and were great about communicating timelines. Exactly what you want out of a good contractor. “I hired Harjo to build an addition and redo the (very old) kitchen - this expanded into a little more work (motivated by me, as I was understanding some other parts of the house that needed work). When my friends have done renovations, the story is always delay and stress. It was completely the opposite with Harjo - great communication, great help and support all round, and even when I expanded the scope, everything got done on time and well. There were a couple minor problems, and of course there were unexpected things that we found in the process of renovating a 1947 house - but really, really small in comparison to the entire project, and they were easy to resolve. Karl is not only a highly skilled craftsman, but he's also a problem solver of all things project related. Those two skills mean you get quality end results at the right prices!I could not love my new bathroom and kitchen / dining room more! Clear View and Karl made design problems into design features! In my case, if you can't avoid an awkward structural support post in the kitchen, Karl suggested making it stainless steel and plunging it through the kitchen counter to match the mid-century inspired design! I can't say how many times we've heard "awesome support post solution!".
