I've had corrective lenses for more than 30 years; the doctor was friendly and did a great job with the prescription and contacts fitting (will update if needed after my follow up visit with him next week). The store had a nice selection of frames and the staff was great. Very patient with me and brought out other colors; even disinfected a few pairs that another customer had just viewed so I could try them. They were taking the time to clean everything & all staff was careful about safety and sanitation diring the pandemic“

“Called today to make an appointment as a new patient, due to eye pain. The receptionist (I believe her name was Robin?) was so nice and able to squeeze me in same-day, which was great. Not sure if that's typical, but it was very helpful to me as I didn't want to wait an entire month to be seen for eye pain. My visit was short, to the point, and very enjoyable (or as enjoyable as a trip to the doctor can be!) The staff was incredibly friendly, the waiting room was quiet and clean. They even had a walled-off children's area for my 2.5 year old to play in (a lifesaver!) The doctor was so very nice and made great conversation, and I felt entirely comfortable throughout the exam. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely keep them as my eye doctor while we are stationed in this area for the next 2 years.“

“Right when you walk into the office it is very nice, spacious, and clean and you are greeted with a smile from the lovely secretaries. Stephanie was the tech that worked with me and she was very nice and knowledgeable she was able to do my refractions right in my wheelchair which made me feel very comfortable. Then I got to meet Dr Hardaway to finish up my exam. He was very kind and both explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable. I did not get the chance to go to the Optical Dispensary but I'm sure that is a great experience as well. Thank you Kitsap eye physicians“
