This was my second time hiring Jim from the York/Poq Driving School. He is firm, yet kind and incredibly flexible. I initially chose his service due to having a lower price than the others in the area, but it truly is a deal because Jim is absolutely fabulous! * Context to the added screenshot: The Textline has me, Jim, and my son, Gage, on it. Gage started a new job halfway through his driving week. This caused him to miss two days of after-school driving. Jim offered to take him Sunday morning, until he found out that Gage would be missing church. At this point, Jim offered full flexibility since Gage is not eligible to obtain his license until the end of November. I cannot recommend Jim highly enough!
I love Jim I'm black and I passed he is not racist so idk what the other reviews mean he is funny and cool he only grabbed the wheel to help me on the potholes but other than that he never grabbed the wheel or even used to emergency brake he only used it when I got close to a car. We also went on the highway and everything he even brought me Slurpee's when we went to 7/11 :) I'm going to miss him because how cool he is but I really recommend this place I LOVE it when I get older and have kids I'm definitely taking them to Jim BEST DRIVER INSTUCTER EVER!
A WONDERFUL experience!! Mr. Jim was a kind and calm instructor, per my daughter. She came home after each lesson with a better understanding of the road. As a parent, he was a 10/10. He was the only instructor who could get us in a few days after my initial call. My daughter wanted to drive on the first day of school and we only had about 12 days beforehand to make it happen and he DID. He worked around our hectic schedule and fit in her lessons with no hesitation. I can’t say enough about how that helps a parent out.
