I've also gotten waxing services and her hands are the most gentle I've ever experienced in 15+ years. The salon is private despite it being a shared space with other cosmetic professionals. Refreshments are available for waiting guests (although I've never had to wait). Parking is free for first 30 minutes at the lot next door. Centrally located in downtown Bethesda. Highly recommend.“

“they rushed through my services and didn't do a thorough job. they were not busy at all when we went on a Thursday morning and the technician that did my nails rushed and got gel polish on the skin/cuticles on six (I previously thought it was five, but it is six) of my fingers. this is dangerous because polish cured on the skin can cause allergies. they also stick fingers straight into dip powder containers and that's highly unsanitary, especially when they don't even have you wash your hands first. they also left wax on my eyebrows.“

The only thing is that I can't book online, which can be annoying. Otherwise, I suggest this place and have had nothing but great service here!“

“i made an appointment since they were near my job and noticed this salon specializes in gel x. i've been dying to get gel x for a while and this is the spot to go to! darlene was super sweet and very accommodating, she's also very precise and knowledgeable about her work. but don't get it twisted, it's not a regular nail spa... they also offer variety of snacks and drinks from mimosas to matcha. not to mention about over 3,000 nail colors to choose from. everything about this salon was the highlight of my day, great energy and great service! i will definitely come back, you HAVE to get your nails done here “

I highly recommend you give her a shot, see how you won’t regret it! I’ve healed past the aftercare stage and i can safely say the hairs she did for me on my neck and face are no longer an issue and have not come back since! Overall experience and service was fantastic, will most definitely be back for future Electrolysis needs!“

Although I had a bad experience at this place, I have to give it to Angela, the owner. As soon as I posted the review, she contacted me directly and apologize for the experience. I am giving it 5 stars because I like small business that care about how their customers are treated and of course want the best for them. Don’t make my experience stop you from going. Angela cares about customer service and the service that they provide. She took my experience very serious and was very concern about me, but was very clear that she will make sure that my experience won’t ever repeat again to anybody.

Past Review:
I went yesterday to get a Brazilian wax. As soon as I got there she showered me with baby powder. While spreading the 3 cups of baby powder on my vagina she scratched me multiple times. The lady was so aggressive, she didn’t let the wax even dry, she would put the paper for a second and rip without even getting any hair. While ripping the wax from top to bottom she would hit the table, she waxed the same spot 5 times. She had the nerve to asked “are you nervous?” Meanwhile I was suffering. Once she was done, she told me to check myself and let her know if she needed to go over one more time (in my head I was like HELL NO!) I got up and the paper was stuck to my butt, I had wax on my fresh manicure because she asked me to hold my skin since she couldn’t ripped hair with her “technique” I stayed in that room for a good 20 mins cleaning myself. Now my vagina is irritated, seems like she ripped skin and hurts to walk. I went to this place because my usual lady was not available so lesson learned, never cheat on your lady even when is an emergency.
DO NOT GET A BRAZILIAN THERE!!“

They often notify me of changes, locations, availability, etc. Also, with proper notifications on my part, if my schedule changes, they will try and accommodate that too. Very good!“
