I called Dansey Plumbing today for a plumbing emergency with my elderly mother who is in Esmont, an hour from us and from any local plumbers we knew of. My husband (from Scottsville) said he was coached by George Dansey in Little League many years ago and to try them. I'm so glad we did. Out of all the plumbers we called, a Dasney technician called back and made time to come over to get my mother's water working again and will complete the repair in the coming week despite having to squeeze it in to do so. I wish I could give them 10 stars for ensuring that my 87 yo mom had water and for the kindness he showed us as well. It's nice to know that there is a local plumbing (and heating) company near my mom that we can call if she has further issues and I am so grateful to them for their help today.
Great place for a cut. Nice and retro. Somewhere between stories about meeting farrah faucets stylist and using the blueprints on stage for the Angel s**** and then set props being borrowed for steel magnolias theater.... so cool.

I got my hair cut at Evolve about two weeks ago and had an excellent experience. My appointment started on time and fulfilled exactly what I asked for. I appreciated that there was no attempt to "upsell" me or push hair products that I wasn't interested in. A warm and professional atmosphere, and a terrific light-layers cut at a very reasonable price.

My mother in law just recently moved to Scottsville and we wanted to send her flowers for her birthday. I was hoping to find a local florist and I came across We Grow as we live out of town in Northern VA. I believe I spoke with the owner, Daisa who helped me pull together a birthday bouquet and gift card for a wreath making class. She hand delivered the flowers to my mother in law which was such a special touch. We are so grateful she made her birthday extra special. We can’t wait to visit the shop next time we are in town! ??❤️?
