Laura always helps me pick out a glasses frame style that looks right on me. Does a great job tightening up my frames when loose or out of whack. The other staff are always friendly, courteous , and helpful. The testing Technician Abby does a bang up Job, and makes you comfortable while it is going on, the new trainees are friendly and super helpful. Can't say enough good things about this practice. “I usually go to the Johnson Curran Optometry Center on Franklin Road SW Roanoke, Virginia, and am extremely happy with the service I have received there. But the last eyeglasses I bought there, which had a Chesterfield Titanium frame, had one of the plastic nose grip fall from the frame, and so I needed to have it repaired. Since I was going to be doing some errands today near their Valley View Blvd Optometry Center, I phoned them the day before to see if I could take my eyeglasses to their office to get fixed. A very nice and friendly lady answered the phone, told me I could, that they opened at 8:30am, and gave me directions to their office. I was very impressed with the wonderful customer service that I received during this telephone call and looked forward to visiting this Center. When I got there, the place was very clean and modern and nicely decorated for the Holidays. As soon as I walked in the door, a friendly and very hospitable lady asked me what I needed and after I explained, she took my eyeglasses and went to work inside. Soon afterwards she came out and had replaced the plastic nose grips with a little larger size ones that were stronger and felt more comfortable. And I was out of there with my repaired eyeglasses in minutes. I confirmed that the consistency of quality service was reflected in all the Johnson Curran Optometry Center the same. And that the key of this was in their caring and knowledgeable employees who went out of their way to provide the best possible service. I highly recommend this Optometry Center for all your Optometry needs.“

“Staff is competent, thorough and spent an adequate amount of time on every visit to address any questions I posed. The two doctors I've seen, Coolbaugh for annual exams and Bradley for cataract surgery, have taken their time to explain procedures and respond professionally to my questions. The practice seems quite busy and wait times can extend well beyond the appointment time.“

“Dr. Dietels is the best optometrist in the continental US. I’m 31 and I’ve been seeing him since I was 8 years old. Lived on the west coast and went to another eye doctor and I missed Dietels so much I moved back. I hope he outlives me so I never have to go see another eye dr again. What a legend.“

“I woke one morning to extreme haziness in my vision. Tried to be seen here and couldn't since they do not accept my insurance. They still called me the next day to check on me and give me an alternative to be seen elsewhere. I have never had anyone from any business check on me without the possibility of them getting my business. I feel like this is a place that actually cares, hince the 5 star review. Thank you for not just seeing dollar signs when it comes to your business.“

Office wait times can be a little unpredictable at times so I would plan on being there a minimum of 2 hours. Overall highly recommend!“
