First impression was no greeting and ignored completely when I walked in up to when I was called to the desk. Even then no smile or greeting... only ," Next!" I was handed a clipboard and instructed to fill out the paperwork and that was that. There were two people at the desk; one was checking people in and her other was deep into her computer screen. She did manage to thank and say good bye to a few people but never even peeped at me. Not a welcoming feeling at all. Second notice is they're all dressed casually. Jean jacket and leggings casual. I guess it's Friday so not a big deal. I've just never been in a clinical setting where they wear leggings. The waiting area...read full review

I had never been a patient at any eye center as I have never had the need to before, however, when I had an injury to my eye, Vistar worked me into their schedule that day. Dr. Scothorn is fabulous and I would recommend that anyone in need of an exceptional optometrist go to him. I am so thankful to him and his staff for the warm welcome I received into their practice after my injury. My eye is healing well and I owe that completely to the wonderful and personalized treatment I received from Vistar.

First visit with Vistar after transferring from another ophthalmology group. Very caring and personable staff, and Dr. Scothorn is fantastic. He called me personally to discuss concerns and offer options for further treatment.
