“My husband and I bring our boy Murphy to Toby Town once a week. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. He always looks SO happy and as soon as he sees where we are going in the morning, he is crying out of excitement. I feel bad for the morning worker (I’m so sorry!) who grabs him because he is literally a wild man jumping out of the car to go play. Every worker is incredibly kind and really care about your dog. “Big Tuna is a very anxious rescue! I felt that he was in the best hands at The Dog Stop when I dropped him off for his temperament test and then again at his first overnight board. I went a little overboard packing him his own duffle bag & note with instructions, but the staff said it wasn’t overboard and they love Big Tuna! Thank you for having the compassion to also board anxious pups!“
“this is the best veterinary office ive ever been to. the doctors really and truly care about the animals they treat. we have been seen by different doctors at the office and based on my experience, they all have my full confidence with our elderly cat.“
“I have been going here to the courthouse road location for years. Never had a problem here. My dogs always come back to me no problem. Anything i ask they accommodate. They let my two small dogs share a pen. They also made sure they only got food from home. My lame dog was placed in the senior dog play area only, at my request. And any meds they have, they can give them, not sure about dogs on shots like insulin though. I really like this place. Its a little dated looking from the outside and inside, but like i said, they care for my dogs and they always come back no issue.“
“This place did a great job with my puppy. I would say my only complaint is that I didn’t like how when I picked up my doodle she was full of other dogs’ hair.“

“We have a 130lb Rottweiler named BarbQue. He absolutely loves going to happy Camper. Anytime I tell him we going he jumps in the car immediately. Once we pull into parking lot he starts jumping around. The staff is the best, they love on Que as if he's family. We left him for boarding upto 10 days with no issues. Staff is always extremely accommodating to our schedule. Not far as cleanliness I've seen several reviews bad mouthing the facility. My take is all common areas are clean, no I wouldn't eat of the floor but you can definitely tell it's constantly being maintained. Last thing, Prices are the best in town.“

“For years we been using Dogs Day Inn to watch our dogs for extended stays and love them!! We have a large breed dog and trust Dogs Day Inn’s experience in handling our big dog and they have the space to accommodate our large dog. Highly recommend!! We also use them to groom our small dog.“
“My dog starts getting excited about a mile away. When I pull up at the door, she can't get out of the car fast enough. She loves all the activities, and I love that she is well cared for, whether she is there for just the day or for several days and nights. ALL of the staff are professional, courteous, and fun to be around. And, when circumstances warrant, they go above and beyond without hesitation.“
“Best dog training available in town. I drive 30+ minutes to get here and Its worth it. Fair price that goes to supporting a local business that really cares about the animals they help train. My favorite part is they train the owners to be better dog owners and be better trainers themselves. Definitely worth it and I'm glad to have come here for both of my dogs.“
“We tried a few places and ADA is the best in the city! My dog loves ADA! She always comes back tired and happy. The staff are really nice and they've gotten increasingly organized. Not that they ever did a bad job, it's just easier to reach them now and check in is a breeze. I love that they match dogs for playtime based on their temperaments, I feel like my furbaby is always safe with them!Please avoid Pet Paradise, even with cameras on them they don't pay attention to the dogs like they should, I don't think the staff is properly trained and my furbaby got hurt with them at two separate locations. No accountability.“

“This Dogtopia location was amazing. They helped me be able to bring my dog with me to a conference and not have to leave her in the hotel room all day. They were great about getting me all set up by transferring her recorders to this location, holding her food in the refrigerator while I was at the conference all day, and giving our dog Nala lots of love and attention. Nala loved it here and we will be back when we are back in town again!“

“Miki is one of the best groomers I’ve encountered in the RVA area. My dog has aggressive tendencies and she knew exactly how to handle him. She didn’t even need to muzzle him, which is absolutely amazing! The idea of bringing our dog to the groomer was so stressful but Miki really calmed our fears.Impawsible Pups is a great place where employees are trained to deal with difficult pups and for you to bring your dog to a safe and calm place for them to stay!“
