Attended the eight hour class for Virginia Escort Vehicle / Pilot Car certification, as taught by Ms. Cathy Branch. There was a lot of literature to get through in the time provided, while allowing for a one hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks. Ms. Branch told me she's been conducting the VA driver improvement classes for 25 years - not sure how many of those have been specifically the escort driver portion, but she certainly has been in this general field a while. Respect. The room was small & dated, but not uncomfortable. Much of the class was just Ms. Branch reading aloud from the manuals, with some light conversation mixed in. Everything in the booklet is also projected onto the wall, with the slight advantage of allowing for motion slides. My favorite part were the little animated diagrams of lane changes. There are knowledge checks at the end of each section of the manual, and then a final test to conclude the class. Upon passing that test w a score of 100% correct (brag) I was issued my certificate of completion.

Very personable and friendly; I highly recommend this driver school! Definitely eye opening and will teach you things you won't learn in an ordinary class room. I wish everyone would take this class, court/DMV ordered or not.

I do not recommend B&M Driver Improvement Clinic. I just received a response from B&M driver improvement clinic on a review I left on their page months ago (Spring 2018). Ironically, my initial response was removed from their ratings section. The response I received today (9/17/18) from them disregarded my initial complaints that the DMV program they use for course material exams was misleading due to wrong information and discrepancies in the online course material.
